To My Rollplayers!

I've actually played SLA Industries once or twice before, it's an interesting system. I'd be interested in playing, have to get my hands on a book though.

If you want to you can, but we won't be using rules so you wont need a book. This is strictly narrative. Not everyone has a copy of the books and they are exceedingly hard to find these days so I wont make anyone try and get them.

Hmm... what do you think of running a high computer subterfuge mechanic with a kustom battle-taxi?

I think I said send me your character in a PM so the others wont know who your are. Thats what I think.

LOL, yea. The books is nice to have though, the setting is very nice.

"Nice" is not the word I would use to describe SLA. Gorey, bloody, violent, dark, and twisted, but definatly not nice.

Gorey's a good word, Sic. Like the time your character (DJ, was it?) tackled a guy with explosives strapped to him to take him off the catwalk. All that was left of him could be held in a ziploc bag!

And then there was Salih...who didn't think through the repercussions of blowing a hole in an engine block with a HEAP (High-Explosive-Armor-Piercing) round and became the official spokesebon for the protective cup company. Once he recovered anyway.

*snickering*

Funny's a good word too, come to think of it.

DJ is Korwin's character. The poor sap your thinking of is Frenchy, aka Jean-Jauques Mondo, aka Solitaire. I believe his final word was "Huggies!"

And its for that reason that this game will take place BEFORE Jean died. He was my favorite character, snif snif, oh how the mighty have fallen. I got him all the way to SCL 6c.7 He was badass with a capitol b.

From what i've read and played of the game it's basically a British version of Shadowrun, not that that is a bad thing mind you. Though magic is not as prevalent as it is in the Shadows.

DJ = DeathJester. I'm sorry, Sic....I'd completely forgotten Frenchie's name...though I promise I didn't intentionally mix him up with Korwin's character.

Anyway.

No, magic isn't as prevalent. Think of it rather like combat magic doable by only one race. (Ebon/Brainwaster/Necanthrope). There are other uses, but most of it's done in combat rounds and can get rather ugly.

Though I wouldn't mind someone starting a shadowrun game. Where else can a trip down to the corner for a soda include claymores, a few spells, and elaborate plans to bypass the register's computer? Oh yes...and a run in with the Orc Union of taxi drivers?

meh I really can't think of a character...hhmmm...I will have to get this art work over first...maybe later

how did everyone get their little icons back and I didnT?

Don't tempt me to try to design my own sci-fi roleplaying game... :D Ok, maybe the Orcs wouldn't run the Taxi union... but you couldn't walk 3 paces without getting beaten down by one if you were an elf! Lol
