OOC: Depends upon his current nature, Sic. He's currently gone to his unseelie side, which means his general mindset is now Ravage, as opposed to Muse. To shed some light on this for the rest of the group, there's a dark, and light side to these creatures. Generally speaking, Shade's not the purest of individuals at the moment, nor is he the most chivalrous. Sorry if this kind of makes no sense, or leaves you guys in the dark.
occ: I think I uderstand what you mean. I'll only write a short bit for the moment until someone else puts something up.
ic: Liz was suddenly grabbed by Anais hand. The little boy, Cricket pointed towards Sahde and Liz could clearly see him, thankfully she managed not to put him in his 'other' self. By a blink of an eye though she lost him, he had faded into the crowds...dammit! she still needed to talk to him about all this, surely he could give her answers.
She didn't completely trust anyone but Dante. But where was he? She felt suddenly alone even though Anais was right by her moving her through the crowds.
(fr) "Don't worry, Liz...we'll find Dante...though I'm not sure what he's run into that would make him take off like that without you." She was scanning the crowd and pitching her voice just for Elizabeth's ears. "Was he your guardian before...well....before?"
Spotting a familiar looking head of reddish hair, she smiled. Not Dante, but at least her other two wards were nearby. And then a beautiful young man with spiky bleached blonde hair walked by, looking askance at the pair. His looks didn't matter. It was the sweet and unadulterated smell of mortal blood that filled her nostrils now, and she needed to feed. There were no drugs in this one, no nicotine...and it was hard to keep from chowing down right there.
It didn't take much convincing to get the young man to wander off towards one of the less used parts of the markets with them. He wasn't a blood doll, but he would be useful for the purpose.
(fr) "After you, Liz..." She said softly, gesturing towards the man, who was already looking at them expectantly.
ooc: lol, i dunno why dante disappeared either, and i've been befuddled as to what to do while gone and how i got gone lol. i suppose i can give it a try.
Dante strode into the crowd with Liz by his side. They walked by small dancer plying her trade trying to make a few coins. Dante spotted a dark alley off to the side of the market, he figured that would be a good place to go about his business and to satiate his thurst. He tapped Liz on the shoulder, motioned her to follow, and started to walk over assuming she would follow.
He got into the alley easily and inconspicuously enough. "(It) So Liz, would you..." As he turned around to finish his sentence, Dante was astonished to find that she was not with him any more. He scanned the crowd and couldn't see her anywhere. Where did she go? Well, Liz can handle herself, I'll feed quickly and then go look for the others.
From the alley Dante watched people pass by. Finally a woman looked in as she was walking. He caught her eyes and commanded her, "(En) Come here," he said with a think accent. She came to him, he turned her around and bit her on the neck, feeding on the sensual blood that poured from her.
ooc: ok...i guess that leaves it open ended, if something is gonna happen to Dante it can happen now, otherwise if i don't hear anything soon i'll just assume feeding went well and i'll go look for other people.
occ: lol oh dear I have no idea what I'm meant to write here but I'll give it a go.
ic: Liz nodded, following the man quitely. She didn't want to linger she had to find the others, what did Anais mean about why ever would Dante leave her?? Just a play on words?
Quickly moving behind the man, she drank deeply. Ahhhh the taste of blood, it made her feel alot better and more aware than she ahd been before. She let go, motioning to Anais. Liz then looked around the crowd, finding it easier to see things in more detail now that she had drunk. She found Dante. He was just feeding off a woman, disappearing, she moved over towards him. Waiting til she had finished and then tapped him on the shoulder.
'(en) What erm...was you erm...about? er... to say?' She smiled, her english still needing alot of work.
IC: Shade sat at a table in the market, in quiet contemplation. This group that Anaîs had brought with her was interesting indeed. He admittedly didn't know them very well at all. But then again... they WERE vampires. He took another bite out of his cheese-burger, and continued his train of thought... The vamps weren't ALL that bad. It could be worse... they could be those wolf-people who badly need a class or two on "Anger Management 101". At least the vamps only bit into you because they were hungry. The dogs would just kill you because you're there. And then there were those sneaky wizards. Shade quickly looked over his shoulder, and tossed a packet of salt behind him a few feet. For superstitions... He whispered to himself. Always did hate them. Never could figure out how to tell them apart from mortals.
His thoughts trailed back to the Anaïs' friends. Dante seemed pretty decent. He was definately an Italian, though, so arguments wouldn't be a good idea. Daithi, was one not to get into a fist-fight with. From the looks of his build, he could throw a good punch. But then again, if he was from Ireland, than that alone would have been reason enough! Liz he didn't know about. The others, he was sure, didn't know anything about him... and that was good. But Liz could see 'Bit.' Which meant she could clearly see his true side. She was frighteningly young though. But he'd seen several other vampires that were still younger than her. Sometimes it sickened him the humor that some take in making a vampire out of a little child. She was young, however, and the damage she could cause here in the market was great, even if she didn't understand how. He turned his attento to 'Bit', and looked down at the 7-legged hairy spider-thing trying to eat a french-fry with it's mandables. Bit, go keep an eye on that Liz for me. Try to stay out of sight... The little creature looked up at him with it's emotionless red eyes, while it's mandables made soft clicking noises. Fine... Take the french-fry's too... I'm done with them anyways. And with that, it took off down the crowd, dragging a small bag of french-frys with it. Nobody seemed to notice.
Daithi and Wilhelm threaded their way through the crowd. Daithi looked at the dancer on his way by, but didn't stop...except to turn around and drag Wilhelm away fom the dancer when HE stopped. Daithi was just too hungry to care about women at the moment, and that was saying a lot.
Finally he found a corner that still got enough foot traffic, but was inconspicous for the most part. Daithi decided to test out Anais' theory, and began to talk to Wilhelm in english, letting his accent roll off his tongue freely. Sure enough, he began to notice that he drew the gaze of females as they walked by...smiling to himself, he waited until a decent looking one came by, and gave the nod to Wilhelm as soon as he had attracted her attention. With his accent and Wilhelm's ability to command people with just a word, they were feasting in no time.
Anaïs sighed as she realized Liz had gone missing. Ah well. She finished with the man, licking his wounds delicately closed and cleaning a droplet of blood away from her lips with a smile. With a kiss and an insincere, "Thanks, lover. I'll look you up sometime.", she was gone.
Over the course of an hour, she'd watched all of them, satisfied herself that they were feeding inconspicuously, and then began to ask quiet questions about the pale man named "Jerry" that the fae child had mentioned in passing.
IC : Bit came back to Shade in little less than 3 minutes... gone was the bag of fries, replaced with a little plastic dinosaur. Shade stared at his little companion in obvious dissaproval. I said 'Liz'. Not Liz-ard. he whispered at Bit. The creature, completely ignored Shade, and started chewing on a salt-packet. Sometimes... I just hate you.
Liz popped up as soon as the woman he had fed off of had left. Dante was sort of surprised that she could have tracked him down so quickly and easily. Most of the people in the market were completely ignoring him. "(En) I want to know if you are hungry," he said with measured words. English was still not coming to him easily. "(It) But now your food is gone, I hope you have eaten somewhere else while you ran off," Dante remarked with a friendly smile.
Liz smiled. '(en) yes, me has ate, I lost you, Anais came.' Wow her english wasn't improving much, but she was trying her best. She linked arms with him and dragged him off towards the direction of the dancing girl.
Oh, Anais? You actually want to ask questions about jerry? Or do you remember enough about him to wing it? If you need to know, cricket is right here. He can answer for you, but remember, he is a Pooka.... Hehehehe..... Mabey you should ask Shade.
Cricket sat in the corner with a freash copy of the weekly world news. It seems bat boy met his long lost father, the new pope, also aliens are reported to have abducted Jessie Jackson and replaced him with an android. "Hrmmf nothing new, all old stuff I already knew." He throws the paper in the trash. A little running around and he finds Liz, standing there watching Laughing Moon. "Shes good huh, sooooo, wanna see somthing cool?"
OOC: I'm afraid I really don't remember Jerry, Sic, so you'll have to help me out with that one. Would you be so kind as to throw a pale-visaged NPC inAnaïs's general direction to take her there? With Kor being at work and unable to do so....Thx.
