I think the combo was designed to work with Compuhost, but works fine on it's
own as well

There is a free version of CDGrip available for downloading.

I wouldn't give up PCDJ/KJ Red for it, but it IS workable.

In my case I just really like the ripper.

My hosting system is free, never crashes, and does EVERYTHING...:sqlaugh::rofl::sqlaugh:


But on a serious but way to the side note, has anyone but me tried the combination of CDG Grip and Fasttracks? Just started diddling with it- not bad!

If it's the program you can download from their site, that's exactly what I use because i own the fasttracks program and it allows me to use my database to name the programs. The newer version also has an option to use the free online database.

it does everything i need it for, and its free

granted it didn't seem to rip everything as well as powercdg burner but 99.9% of my stuff ripped without any graphical errors.

It does, and most would use it that way. I use it differently, but then, I'm not actually hosting with it. It's easy to use, I like the way it's laid out, and works very well. I haven't had a single ripping problem with it.
