The movie was better than the previouus three, but that still doesnt say much about it. Way to much of the story was skipped. It is understandable because of the length of the book, but i think skipping the quidditch match was a bad idea.

Fleur was not as hot as expected, did not have a really good french accent and oh yeah....her hair was not as wavy and luxurious as i thought it should be.
Hermione  just waiting for her to turn 18. :)

ron looks like a dork and harry was not upto my expectations.
Dumbeldore is horrible (pity the first one died) and crouch needs a makeover.

I have read all the books and see all the movies. The movie "Goblet of Fire". Left so much out. If you didn't read the books, I am wondering if anyone really understands it. In all the movies, they left so much out. It would of been fun to of seen that reporter turned into a bug, for that would of been a funny ending to the story. But of course they didn't.

The all seemed to turn emo of sorts. It was a pretty boring movie and the less said about the others the better. Haven't been bothered to read the books, I guess there are some occasions where you'd just rather watch a film for a couple of hours instead of reading a childrens book for the next couple of weeks.

I guess its a curse if you read the book first.

I felt like I was watching a slideshow, and they were just showing me clips from the book. There was no real dialogue, and thats park of what makes the book great, too.

edit: wow, this is pretty old...

:rotflmao:

Yeah, I didn't much care for this movie either. Go rent Gladiator or something.

They spent like 20 minutes on the dragon part alone. Then they spent the rest skimming over important details of the book. I don't think I would've known what was going on if I hadn't read the book.

Through the whole movie, I was furiously whispering the actual plot line to my husband. He was all "Who's that? Why are they doing that? WTF?" The special effects were great (I loved the mermaids), but the actual flow of the movie sucked.
