How do you know you are in love/

For me it's the feeling of constant happiness and my lips moving on their own into a smile when I see the person. What about you guys and girls? What kind of butterflies do you get? <3

I believe you're in love when the person you love hurts/offends you or you get so aggravated with but you can't help but stay with them regardless. Love in my opinion is that emotional bond that you have with someone that dictates that you are theirs and they are yours and you'd do anything to protect each other. Everything else is just lust.

I agree it's hard to describe, but I realized that I was really interested in this person when I realized that I was expecting his calls/texts, upset while waiting for his responses but got really happy when we responded.

This too. Although I've yet to be in such situation, there are times when I feel upset to this person but just can't bring myself to actually get angry. I still want to see him or be with him. So helpless. :/:

I definitely agree with this. It's very hard to explain. It's very easy to know when your in love though.

I hate when people are trying to define the indefineable.
Love is illogical, strange, but still amazing.
Stop trying to make sense of something that is better not making sense. :)

Not necessarily, lol. Because it is wonderful that we try to express and describe it. The more it is illogical sometimes the more I'm trying to justify it by trying to explain it only to end up even more confused than before. XD That's the charm of love!

Basically, when you find yourself wanting to do all you can to make another person happy that is love in my opinion.

Somebody once told me to never leave your family and friends for your lover, even if they have become your world. That's also love, she said. Sounds really tough sometimes. :(

Not really. Love is what we define as individuals and is the most powerful force of all.

Ignore what she said and do what your heart says.
Ignore all else.
 
This reminds me of a Bible quote my Dentist use to have somewhere in her office:

There are different types of ways love sprouts. The love a child has for their parents.

Finding your partner brings a different kind of love. It is a strong bond. It made me leave my family and friends to follow this person to lands for me unknown. If that person is worth following or not is something we have to learn, and then decide.
