I love reading blogs and there are some that I read every day. I am Catholic and I like a good song. Other than that, nothing really moves me at mass. Well thru blogs I have been reading a lot of Southern Christian stuff and thru one of them I got introduced to a wonderful spiritual song called I Can Only Imagine. When I heard it for the first time yesterday I openly wept. This song is so powerful and of course my DDs are like "mom you're a wierdo." I'm positive some of you haved heard that song. So anyone, has any song openly moved you to tears?
 
Ha Ha. Love the song and the man too.
 
Anything from Mumford and Sons. A lot of people say there is a Christian undertone to them. Not sure but their lyrics are really powerful and have helped me keep hope in these struggling times.

Amen sister! When the guy producing our wedding video put that song on there I said HELL no you have to get rid of it. YUCK.

I like the one you mentioned but really love Word of God Speak by Mercy Me. It really speaks to me...lol,

MANY church songs make me cry.... especially those dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and Christmas songs, because we don't hear them very often... hence, my love for stations that play Christmas music for a longgggggggggggggg time. Course, I can always put in my CD of Polish Christmas carols.... my peeps LOVE when I do that :snicker: I saw the church organist/choir director at CVS a few months back and told him how much his music and singing moves me..... I said I wished I could be in the choir, but I'd be too busy crying to sing :lol: ...... yeah... I'm THAT bad :surrender:

OH, and patriotic songs......... really, any patriotics songs......... HATE it when people don't give them the respect they deserve :hurt:
