Let not just talk about watching stuff, lets talk about participating too!
I'll try any sport once. But i'm a pretty decent Golfer (i have a real low handicap) and i'm gonna try my hand at Hockey again. I used to play in High school, but that was a bit ago.
I'd also like to try getting in a Softball league if i can find the time. I know theres plenty of places around here that play all nights of the week during the summer.
I have played almost every sport out there. I currently play lifting weights. lol
When I can find someone I will play racquetball and I need to get back into golf. I used to shoot really well but stopped playing in college and haven't been out in at least a year. And I was in a softball league about a year and half ago but that fizzled away. It was a work league.
Bowling(average 212) and golf which Im still trying to figure that out. My golf game isnt horrible but I would love to be able to fix my slice. Ive been battling it for years. I wrestled in highschool. Varsity winner 5 years.
I enjoy playing sports such as tennis or badminton. I like sports that require skill, eye coordination, control, and solo play. Tennis is a great exercise due to the running and swinging that you constantly do.
I occasionally play tennis but I've never been any good. I love to swim - it's so relaxing even when I work hard so it doesn't really feel like sport or exercise!
High School: I got really good at the drums really fast during 8th grade, so I was playing for the pep band in high school, I wasn't great at sports anyways. I was having more fun making more friends playing drums than I would have made down on the field. I was too big to play basketball still, I had a football player's body. And when baseball rolled around, I just wasn't feeling it. So I took up fishing in the spring instead.
Now: I play in some flag football leagues from time to time. My buddies and I meet up at one of the two local parks to shoot hoops from time to time as well. I hike/hunt/fish a lot during the fall and hike/fish during the spring.
I got out and played Racquetball at the gym the other day. They had all the stuff there for me to use and my buddy had played before, so i took a crash course in playing and we played two games. I did ok. I think i have found a new fun sport, lots of exercise.
I play basketball at least once a week and during the spring and summer months I usually play touch football with a group of friends on saturdays. Nothing beats getting some exercise. Always makes your day better.
Only sport I ever enjoyed was football, I was forced to play Basketball and got pretty decent at it every time basketball season started, just because all my friends switched to it.
But the most I enjoyed was being a wide receiver for my high school team, havent played for years thoug, sad I know.
When I was in middle school/ high school I played alot of sports throughout those 7 years. I did volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, bowling, and track. Out of all of those volleyball and track were my favorite. I havent had much time to play sports anymore because right after highschool I had a child and I have been super busy with him all the time. When he gets old enough to start running and getting some cordination skills I will definately teach him how to play alot of sports
Been a swimmer all my life! But lately I've been really into running/biking as well. I hope those count as sports ;P I'm also a big fan of the sport of calisthenic-ing!
