Need recipe ideas.

I dislike tuna but DH likes it during Lent.

I have never made anything with it besides tuna-fish sandwiches ;)

Fish cakes.

Add an egg and some crushed crackers, fry in a bit of oil in a skillet.

tuna macaroni casserole,, my favourite comfort food

Tuna cakes

2 large potatoes
pat of butter or margarine
4 tsp milk
2 tsp lemon juice
5oz can tuna
6 tsp frozen corn, defrosted
1 egg
oil
salt and pepper
bread crumbs

1)Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks and cook in boiling water until tender.
2)Drain potatoes and mash with butter, milk, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Drain tuna and stir into potatoes with corn.
3)Divide mixture into 12 and pat each into circle shapes.
4)Beat egg, dip circle cakes into egg ant then into bread crumbs.
5)Heat oil and fry cakes both sides until golden brown.

I do not have egg noodles but will these work with other noodles? elbow, rotini......

Oh sorry forgot to mention that I will be making this today for my DH's lunch tomorrow. Is it good to reheat??

Sorry but thanks for the help :)

I love tuna salad but warm tuna has never been appealing to me.

Whenever I make tuna salad I add chopped cucumbers to it (instead of onion or celery).

My friend adds pickles.

I have used what ever noodles we have in the house--and yes, we reheat it no problem

I mostly make this to reheat for lunch, I like the reheat better. :-)

Also, I have used whatever noodles I can find in the house.

I always thought tuna melts sounded gross, but when I finally had one it was pretty good...it's basically an open face tuna salad sandwich topped with a slice of cheese and run under the broiler until the cheese melts...Googling will bring up lots of variations

Speaking as a tuna-holic, you can use tuna in any dish.

I've used it to substitute for virtually any protein, like instead of ground beef, use tuna in lasagna.

Use it in Japanese-type of soups, with chicken broth, spinach, mushroom, shredded carrots, etc.

Should be able to use any noodle. Macaroni would be good. I usually stir in a bit more milk right before microwaving so it doesn't dry out. If you have a good soup to noodle ratio it should be fine.

I make tuna salas tostadas

Tuna
Mayo
Green peps
Onion
Tomatoe

Throw it on a tostada add hot sauce and you have dinner.
