Well to be fair, I get up at 6:30........make the kids breakfast (eggs and toast), make their lunches, pick out their clothes, hound on them to get their farking teeth brushed, etc. Then we get in the car later than we should and I drive them about 15 min. to school. I come home around 8:10ish and go back to bed with Sadie until she starts nudging me that she wants to go out. :bliss:

Made a skillet based on this recipe. DH made some Knorr noodles as a side a few days ago and I tossed the leftovers in instead of making egg noodles, skipped the butter since there was already sauce in the noodles, also added green peppers. It was really good ..DH went back for seconds. I only used 3 of the 5 sausages so we have a couple cooked up for another quick meal later in the week.

Made this last night, really simple, quick, and tasty. Could add what ever finely sliced vegis you want. ....hmmm....maybe sliced water chestnuts next time.!! Make extra sauce!

I used ground turkey and the low sodium soy sauce.

What temperature do you bake tilapia at? Directions say 425 but I don't think that is what I usually do? Help!

My homemade version of hamburger helper:

Ground beef, pasta, parmesan cheese, diced tomatoes, and zucchini all simmered in beef broth.

Tastes so much better and much healthier too! Easy too since it all cooks in one pan on the stovetop!

I tried to make applesauce chicken from Crockpot 365. FAIL! I hate cooking.... can't we just have frozen pizza every night?

I had a taste for baked ham and scallops but didn't start dinner early enough. So I found a shortcut close enough version with frozen hash browns, onions, ham, sharp cheddar and a sour cream based sauce mixed in. Turned out pretty tasty.

Peppermint ice cream....no time to cook, working on a couple of college app's. So nice of dd to leave them until the day they are due because she didn't write her essay's.

Oh well, I need to drop a few pounds anyway.

Salmon, sauteed mushrooms, and salad made with avocados, chick peas, cucumber, lime, salt and pepper.
