what's the diff

anyone know off the top of their head what's the difference between all the palms?

Seems like the IIIx, Vx, VIIx all got 8MB of flash.. everything else has 2MB or so.. but what else is different? software?

Software is pretty much the same throughout the Palm family of products. Only difference might be OS version, but they're functionally the same.

I'd say their pretty much all the same with the exception of memory size(2/4/8), color(IIIc)/monochrome screen(everything else), built-in modem(VII),add-ons or not.
Same cradle/synchronization. etc.
