What's your kid's fav new toy?

New Wii games and new DS games.

And lots and lots of Angry Bird stuffed animals, both birds and pigs. And I mean LOTS and LOTS. I stopped counting around 20 since they got them from everyone. Big pigs, little pigs, big birds, little birds, pigs that make sounds, birds that make sounds, more.

The circuits sound like something my ds would LOVE===does any store sell it besides ordering from discovery? If a local store has it--I might just go get it for him--he is really bright and I think would LOVE this--and his Dad would love to do it with him!! Either that or his older brothers--my ds birthday was in November--so I don't want to wait until next year--this ounds like something he would have fun doing when his friends came over (that and all the new traditional games he got---we played Uno Roboto last night--and he just laughed and laughed and laughed)

Amazon.

I have already checked around and Chalkboard carries this in their store. The cheapest place to order online is RainbowResource.com (they are an excellent company that we order a lot of our homeschooling stuff from). I am going to get the package that makes over 500 kits which normally sells for approx. $100...Rainbow sells it for about $68. They are located down by Peoria so I am driving down there this week since my son's birthday is on New Year's Day (Sunday). This will also save me on shipping and I get to go to all the antique stores between here and there...score for mom. :) If anyone is interesed, I am willing to pick up whatever you want also and we can meet up later. I will definitely be going this week sometime...not sure of the date until I know my DH's schedule.

Also, for any homeschoolers out there...this is a tax write-off since it is educational and can be used to teach your kids (a 2nd score for mom).

Mistah got bonus DS9 the Star Wars Lego Walker which he is totally digging...

Mine has been playing with his Transformers nonstop. Good thing I got most of them free or super cheap! He was super easy this year. I spent about $100, and could have spent a lot less. The Lego Star Wars were the expensive part, but even then, he wanted all the cheaper sets.

Btw, I'm pretty sure Hobby Lobby has those Snap Circuits, and they have coupons all the time. Not sure of their prices though.

He has also been playing with his new Laser Pegs set............it is pretty kewl! :cartwheel:

That is cool! My DS would love that, I will have to look in to getting that for his b-day.

I first saw it at a quaint lil toy store here in Kenosha. There's several different sets...........this one is the biggest. It was $99 there so I looked online and ordered it from http://discovery.resultspage.com/search?w=laser+pegs&v=discovery. It was on sale for $89 then I got an additional 25% off my order and free shipping if I spent $100+ so I got the snap circuit set there and a crystal growing kit. The total for all 3 came to $101! :cartwheel::hiphip:

Looks like it's not on sale anymore............back up to $99. :pout:

This set comes with the board, but some smaller sets don't come with the board so they're cheaper but still very kewl.

My new favorite toy is the marshmallow guns (from Kohl's) that my mother mother bought...one for everyone....huge battle on Monday (our Christmas) and DH and I were sick and missed it! :( Just had a mini one in our kitchen with the 4 she sent to our house. :)

We LOOOVE these! so fun!!!

I don't know what their "favorite" is...they seem to be enjoying everything right now...They play with one thing for a while, then move on to another. I was kicking **** on the Dance 3 for Wii! hahahaha...not really kicking ****...I was against my 7 year old. The middle child would kick my ****.

dd12 got the kindle and a gift card so she can download books, loves it. dd2 loves her red sparkly dress shoes (kinda Dorothy from Wizard of Oz) hasn't taken them off since Xmas (we take them off her feet when she falls asleep) and dd1 loves her squeaker shoes (she roams the house listen to her feet squeak). I know they are not really toys but they love their shoes. Toy wise, they have been playing with their train set the most.

DS13 got rockets to build and launch. DH and DS launched them in the yard and has now lost 2 rockets !! If someone finds a rocket or 2 then you will know who they are from, haha .. DD16 & DD12 love their laptops and DS got one too but he is still using my old one..I am having fun with the tablet DH got me :)
