We've gone through some horrid days here on Peak. Now I've lost track of what's happening. Database reset after database reset makes me unsure if there's a point in posting. When will order be restored, and things be more stable?

I don't know but here are 2 ways the forum got hacked.

Either, these hackers were proper hackers and they used rats (password generators) and to solve that the owner must use a very strong password and add password protection.

Or the hacker was kingcool52. Think about it, he is the only guy that access all along along with fords8.

There was activity from his account saying that "it was Savage" and that made me think that it could actually be kingcool52. Because kingcool52 also wrote "that he didn't want me to be admin" and he clearly does not like me so he did this to defame me.


It's not his forum anymore, he sold it at a cheap price and he might be wanting to mess about.

I observed what time he comes online and kingcool52 always comes after the hacks, he does not come at the time of the hack.

When kingcool52's account was hacked, I observed the things he said and they were similar to the things he said to me when we had an argument.

Whoever it is, he's after me, and kingcool52 doesn't like me. What I find most "unfair" is the fact that I was removed from admin and kingcool52 stays admin despite the fact that he could (has) done this.
 
No matter who it is, all admin privileges beside that of fords8 should be removed until the situation is stabilized. That way we could find out if it's an admin breach or if they hacked the forum in another way.

Apparently, fords8 knows who it is.
 
For right now order is back. And to make sure everyone knows, Kingcool and Savage had nothing to do with this. Well they are upset with Savage for something. I really want to get back to enjoying PF and enjoying the members. Have some fun.

Unfortunately, fords8, you broke the deal that I would be admin if the forum merged here. So this is what I'm going to do if you don't make me admin or return my forum.

I'm going to send several ddos attacks until you do that so guys Peak Forum is going down.

You can only blame yourself for this, fords8.
 
Banning me won't do anything. I will get all my friends here and your forumis going donw. sorry

That is to bad. I was hoping you would be better about it. I guess what others say about you is true. I really didn't need this for the little bit of posts your forum came with. Looks like you have a few good members too. For the trouble that you have brought to this site and the time I have wasted, consider us even.

I will not be doing any merging anymore. We will build our post count and member base day by day.
 
The forum will be fine. We have an aggressive child throwing a temper tantrum right now. He's trolling and creating socks in order to make threats. Pay him no mind. He's just the regular sort of fool who let's his ego run out of control when they don't get what they want. Every forum gets these types from time to time and they never win (unless the community let's them). This is a bump in the road we will deal with. Please continue to help this community grow . Protest this child by being more active and showing him that he has no real power. Real life exists beyond his mother's basement.

Well, at least you had every good intention with performing the merger, as in wanting to improve this forum, like anyone else, including myself.

However, next time, you should probably ask the members of this community before undergoing such a large notion.  Of course, no one could have predicted the type of stuff that would be happening (except maybe @Savage), but I would have preferred it if I knew the forum we were merging with.

Also, this is the second time I've had to change my password for this site.  Don't the hackers now I only have so many combinations?

Though, since we're not merging anymore now, how does a light theme with a red colour scheme for this forum sound?  :bashful:

No, we shall counter him primarily by not even acknowledging that he ever existed.  This incident was caused by attention seekers, and unless we ignore them, they might inspire a legion of monsters to do the same.
 
Yeah it would have been good if we had been informed before the merge as I was right all along. Savage is just a little kid on the internet. Banned on several forums including this one before (Bliss) just tells his story really. There's a reason why he changed his username all the time.

Glad everything is almost back to normal now though :)

He seemed like a nice person...  I guess the mask game is real with some people.
 
I'm beyond confused right now...Is it okay if I don't keep completely on track with this? I feel like it'll make my brain explode trying to understand half of it. :/
