I don't have a particular town/state picked out, but it would be place where I would have a nice house with a huge front porch. I would have all kinds of critters (dogs, cats, chickens, goats) and a huge garden where I would grow my own fruits and veggies.
I was born and raised in Chicago, but I am a country gal at heart. I love being in the country!

This is where I always lived (except for college) until we moved here (to chicagoland).

I would move to New Zealand! I love it there (3 yrs of summer mission trips in college). I keep trying to convince my husband.

If not one of the small islands in Hawaii, then directly on the beach on the south side of Cape Cod [coastal on Martha's Vineyard works too]. A view of ocean waves out my south facing windows and a sub 2 minute walk before my toes are in the surf.

Oh we love CO! We are an outdoorsy family and love the mountain hiking. Winters would be harsh but such lovely summer weather, cool in the evening and just right during the day. Sigh...jealous!

I have thought about this alot....If my kids were out on their own and doing well....I would love to buy a driveable camper and travel all over the US. There are so many beautiful places to see in the good ole USA....That reminds me where the hell is Busnut! I'm going to creep on them and get an update....LOL...I live vicariously through them right now.
