WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
- Cody Rhodes © vs. Big Show

Cody Rhodes makes his way out to the ring first with his title held high. Rhodes, like Daniel Bryan earlier, is sporting a spiffy new ring robe on his way out to compete.

We get a replay of the “Big Show at WrestleMania” video that Cody Rhodes has been showing non-stop on Raw and Smackdown over the past few weeks.

Big Show is out next, and he’s got a big, wide smile on as he heads down to the ring.

The start:

The bell rings and Rhodes dives out of the ring right away. Show follows so Rhodes heads back in. Rhodes catches Show with a dropkick, but when he dives over the top, Show catches him and throws him back into the ring. Show corners Cody in the corner and pounds on him before hitting a giant hip toss out of the corner.

Mid-match notes:

Show chops Cody’s chest hard. Show hits Cody with a big clubbing blow across the back before slamming him down to the mat hard. Show catches Cody with a shot to the gut, then another big chop to the chest. Show seats Cody in the corner and shoves his backside in Cody’s face, pressing down hard. Show whips Cody across the ring and runs in after him. Cody moves and connects with a big dropkick, then a dropkick to the knee. Show tosses Cody away and he comes up with another low dropkick.

Cody goes for a pin, but Show powers out at one. Cody kicks away at Show before wrenching away at, and pounding on, Show’s knee. Cody applies pressure to Show’s knee, avoiding the hands of Show before hitting a kneeDT. Cody stomps at Shows face and shoulders before wrenching at Show’s knee again.

Show catches a kick from Cody and fires back with a chop, then a series of clubbing blows. Show runs into Cody’s boots in the corner. Cody heads to the top, and Show catches him by the neck. Rhodes dives to the outside to counter. Rhodes hits the disaster kick, but Show doesn’t go down.

The finish:

Cody goes for another kick, but Show catches him and puts him down with a spear. Show ****s back and hits the WMD. Show covers Rhodes, and gets the three count.

WWE Divas Tag Team Match
- WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix & Eve vs. Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly

The entrances:

Beth Phoenix and Eve make their way out to the ring first, after a long series of video packages. On their way to the ring, we get another video package showing how this match came to be, and why it’s happening.

Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly are out to the ring next, and the crowd is pretty quiet, but again, that might be due to the open air arena.

The start:

The bell rings and Kelly and Eve kick things off. Eve hits Kelly with a knee to the gut, but she’s taken to the mat by Kelly, who follows up with a hurricanrana. Eve kicks out of a pin attempt and whips Kelly into the corner. Eve misses a splash in the corner and Kelly repeatedly rams her head into the corner. Eve blocks a back handspring elbow in the corner, but when Eve heads to the top, she’s stopped by Kelly.

Mid-match notes:

Maria tags in and she and Kelly do a double stink face in the corner. Maria’s caught from behind by a kick from Beth though, and she goes down. Eve takes Maria into the ropes and chokes her, then distracts the ref so Beth can get in a cheap shot. Eve locks in a body scissors. The crowd is chanting for Daniel Bryan.

Beth makes the tag in and kicks Maria in the back. Beth locks in a bear hug from the side, screaming for the ref to ask Maria. Beth mounts Maria and rains down with right hands before getting in a cheap shot on Kelly. Beth continues to stomp away at Maria, to Kelly’s ire.

Eve makes the tag and she and Beth execute a wishbone pull apart on Maria’s legs. Eve gloats a bit, and she’s kicks to the outside by Maria. Maria crawls over to her corner and makes the tag just as Beth does. Kelly comes in and takes out Beth with a Thesz press before taking Beth out with a headscissors. Kelly hits a neckbreaker, then heads up to the top. Kelly hits a crazy front flip standing senton, but a pin is broken up by Eve.

The finish:

Beth goes for the glam slam, but Kelly counters into a facebuster. Kelly makes the tag to Maria. Maria begins to head up to the top rope slowly. Beth stops her and presses her overhead. Kelly stops it and Maria rolls up Beth for the three count.

Hell In A Cell Match
Shawn Michaels as special guest referee
The Undertaker vs. Triple H

Jim Ross is introduced, and Good ‘Ol JR makes his way out to the announce table to help with announcing duties on the show. Cole begrudgingly shakes Ross’ hand, but doesn’t look too happy about it. Lawler shoves Cole aside and happily shakes Ross’ hand.

The entrances:

Shawn Michaels is out first, and he gets a nice reception from the crowd as he makes his way out to the ring. It’s worth noting that he’s not wearing those god-awful bicycle short, and instead opted for a more traditional referee’s uniform (sleeves and all!).

Triple H is the first of the two competitors to make his way out to the ring. Hunter has a pretty elaborate stage set-up, seeing him walk out of the mouth of what looks to be a big viking. Hunter walks down to the ring quickly, stopping right in front of the ring for a good while before heading in.

After a short pause, the gong sounds and the lights go out in the stadium. The Undertaker makes his way out to the ring, still with the hood covering his head, and wearing a crazy robe that makes him look kind of like Shredder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Taker stands across from Hunter in the ring and takes off his hood, showing off his new crew cut. Taker stares long and hard at Hunter. Hunter walks a couple of steps closer, and says something to Taker. Taker simply stares back at Hunter, then looks up to the cell. After a really cool camera shot, that seems like something out of a movie, the cage begins to lower.

The start:

HBK calls for the bell, and both men back into opposing corners before coming out with big right hands. Taker fights Hunter back into the corner and drops some bombs, big rights and lefts, putting Hunter down to the mat. Taker whips Hunter across the ring and runs into a big boot. Hunter fires back with rights of his own, hitting him with repeated body shots. Taker throws Hunter into the corner and hits him with another flurry of offense before tossing Hunter from the ring. Taker follows to the outside and hits Hunter with a big right to the side of the head.

Mid-match notes:

Taker slams Hunter’s head into the ring steps before delivering a simple head butt. Hunter catches Taker with a boot to the gut and sends him into the cage wall. Taker whips Hunter into the cage wall hard, then delivers a back body drop on the floor. Taker pulls Hunter back to his feet and hits him with a series of vicious head butts.

Taker hits Hunter with some more right hands before simply choking Hunter. Hunter pushes Taker away, but Taker comes right back with a knee to the gut. HBK checks on Hunter, but Taker pushes him away and hits the Game with another head butt. Taker launches Hunter into the cage wall again. Taker slams Hunter’s head into the ring steps, then he whips him into the same steps hard.

Taker throws Hunter into the ring, but he catches a big clothesline, then a knee to the face. Taker stands tall and clotheslines Hunter back down to the mat. Taker picks Hunter up and shoulder blocks him, then he does it again.

Taker goes old school, walking the ropes and coming down across Hunter’s arm. Taker sends Hunter over the ropes to the outside again. He follows and immediately pulls apart the ring steps. Taker grabs the top steps and rams them right into Hunter’s face. Taker picks up the bottom steps and slides them into the ring.

Taker hits Hunter with a head butt on his way back up into the ring, then he heads to the apron and delivers a nasty leg drop on the apron.

Taker heads back into the ring and he’s caught with a big DDT. Hunter then slams Taker’s face into the ring steps that had been slid into the ring just a minute ago. Hunter goes for the pedigree on the ring steps, but Taker counters with a back drop off of the stairs. Taker hits a big fist drop, then rains down with right hands on Hunter’s face. Taker slams Hunter’s face into the steps, then he hits him with a big right. Taker hits the ropes, and runs right into a big spinebuster from Hunter on top of the ring steps. Hunter crawls over toward Taker and he’s caught in Hell’s gate.

Hunter picks Taker up and slams him to the mat to break the hold. Hunter heads to the outside where he grabs a chair. He comes in and uses the chair to whack Taker across the back. Taker props the steps up in the corner, then runs Taker into them head first.

Hunter hits Taker with a series of chair shots to the back. Even HBK is surprised at the intensity. Taker uses the edge of the chair to drive into Taker’s spine. Michaels tells Hunter that Taker wont quit, and he needs to cover him.

HBK checks on Taker, and then he’s thrown aside by Hunter, who hits him with a couple more chair shots. Hunter tells Michaels he needs to end it, or he will. Taker tells Michaels not to stop it. Taker struggles to get back to his feet.

Hunter hits Taker with a couple more nasty chair shots, but Taker wont stay down for a three count. Hunter heads back outside of the ring. Hunter yells at HBK to end it. He then goes under the ring and grabs the sledgehammer. Hunter heads into the ring and HBK tries to talk Hunter out of it. HBK tells Taker he’s going to call it, but Taker wont let him.

Hunter hits Taker with a sledge hammer shot to the side of the head, but Taker still won’t stay down. Hunter teases smashing Taker’s head with the hammer, but HBK pulls the hammer away. Hunter tosses the hammer aside and tells Michaels to end it. HBK checks on Taker, but he doesn’t call for the bell.

HBK checks on Taker, and Taker locks in the Hell’s gate. Hunter breaks it up with a nasty sledge shot to Taker’s face. Hunter goes for another sledge shot, but Taker blocks it with a kick and locks in Hell’s gate. Hunter fades, reaching for his hammer. He’s not able to use it before he passes out in the hold.

Officials run down to the ring just in time for Hunter to get up and eat a chokeslam from Taker. A new ref goes to count the pin, but Hunter kicks out at two.

Taker, not happy, chokeslams the ref. HBK hits Taker with a superkick, and Hunter hits the pedigree. Hunter goes for the pin. Taker kicks out!

Hunter crawls to his knees and grabs the sledge hammer. HBK holds Hunter off, but Hunter tosses him out of the ring. Taker sits straight up and hits Hunter with a big boot, then a big right hand, then another right. He hits a series of rights in the corner, then a running clothesline. Taker picks Hunter up for snake eyes, then hits him with another big boot. Taker hits a giant leg drop in the center of the ring.

Taker shoulders Hunter and hits the tombstone piledriver. Taker pins Hunter, but Hunter kicks out at two and Taker looks shocked. Michaels is a wreck, crying in a seated position in the corner. Taker head butts Hunter, so Hunter punches back. Both men get to their knees and trade punches. Both get to their feet and trade more rights.

Taker shoulders Hunter, but Hunter fights out. Hunter hits the pedigree, but Taker still wont stay down! Taker sits up.

Taker has a chair, and he stops Hunter from using the hammer. Taker wails away, hitting Hunter with chair shot after chair shot. HBK is cringing with each shot. Taker buries the chair in Hunter’s midsection, then hits him with a couple more shots to the back. HBK breaks it up, so Taker pins Hunter, but Hunter kicks out at two.

Hunter’s got the hammer, struggling to be able to lift it. Hunter uses the corner to pull himself up. Taker tells him to stay down. Hunter goes for a sledge shot, but Taker stops him. Taker rips the hammer out of Hunter’s hands, so Hunter slaps Taker. Hunter gives Taker a crotch chop, so Taker hits him with the hammer, then tosses it from the ring.

Taker stands over Hunter while Michaels looks away. Hunter tries to pull himself up, using the Undertaker’s legs. Taker pulls his thumb across his throat and shoulders Hunter. Taker hits the tombstone, and pins the Game. HBK counts three, and the era is over.

Taker struggles to stand while Michaels looks on, taking in the scene. Michaels offers his hand to Taker, and Taker grabs it to stand. Taker hugs HBK, almost using him for support to stand. HBK holds Taker’s hand high in victory.

Taker drops to a knee, and does his familiar salute, as fireworks go off, and the 20-0 graphic flashing on the screen.

Following a bit of fanfare, Taker and Michaels help Hunter to his feet, from the ring, and to the back. All three men embrace at the top of the ramp.

Josh Matthews is backstage, saying he’ll interview Flo Rida. He’s interrupted by Heath Slater. Slater says he should be getting interviewed. Flo Rida comes out of his dressing room and Slater asks how about a duet. Then he asks about being a DJ, or maybe a backup dancer, but Flo Rida doesn’t seem too interested. Rida says Slater can hold his mic. Slater starts to say something, but Flo Rida shoves Heath into the wall. Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins make their way in to let Slater know he was just laid out.

12-man Tag Team Match to Determine the GM of both Raw & Smackdown
- Team Teddy (Santino Marella (captain), R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, The Great Khali, and Booker T) (with Hornswoggle and Aksana) vs. Team Johnny (David Otunga (captain), Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, The Miz, and Drew McIntyre) (with Vickie Guerrero)

The entrances:

Back out in the arena, Brie Bella is out to do introductions for all of the members of Team Johnny. She also introduces Vickie Guerrero and John Laurinaitis, who make their way out to the ring to quite a bit of heat from the Florida crowd.

Nikki Bella is out next to introduce the members of the team she’s supporting, Team Teddy. Teddy and Aksana are out next, with flag bearer Hornswoggle along for the ride.

The start:

Kofi and Ziggler kick things off for their respective teams. Ziggler runs into double boots from Kofi in the corner, then eats a cross body. Truth tags in and he and Kofi hit Ziggler with a double hip toss. Truth does a bit of show boating, then hits a big leg drop. Truth goes for the pin and gets two.

Mid-match notes:

McIntyre tags in and takes truth out, hitting him with a big right, but he falls victim to a spinning elbow from Truth. Khali makes the tag in and takes McIntyre down to the mat before slamming his head into the corner turbuckle and hitting a nasty chop.

Booker T tags into the match and he works over McIntyre with a series of chops in the corner. Booker hits a standing side kick to take McIntyre out. Booker gets caught with a cheap shot from Otunga, so he takes it out on all members of Team Johnny. He’s caught by Otunga, and this allows Swagger to make the tag. Swagger comes in and beats on Booker in the corner.

Swagger takes Booker to the mat and locks in a hammerlock, but Booker is able to fight up to his feet and out of the hold. Swagger takes Booker out with a big clothesline, but it’s not enough for a three count. Henry makes the tag and comes in to start stomping Booker.

Henry continues to beat on Booker before making the tag to Miz. Miz comes in and takes Booker to the mat quickly, getting a two count for himself. Miz locks in a rear chin lock. Booker fights up and out of the hold, blocking a suplex and reversing it with one of his own. Miz makes the tag to Ziggler, who comes in and prevents Booker from making the tag. Ziggler hits a huge high angle elbow drop, which is good for another two count. Miz tags back in and kicks away at Booker’s chest. Miz hits Booker with a couple of shots to the face before locking in another front face lock.

Booker fights out and hits a big kick, but Henry comes in to take out Booker. Khali takes out Henry. Swagger and McIntyre take out Khali. Kofi and Truth take out McIntyre and Swagger. Hornswoggle gets in on the action, diving from the ring, but he’s caught by Henry. He’s dropped, and Kofi, Truth and someone else dive out on top of their competitors.

Santino tags in and hits Miz with a series of rights, and a big hip toss. Santino heads up to the top and hits the top rope head butt. Santino brings out the cobra, and slides the sock on his arm. Johnny distracts him, but he’s able to hit Miz with the cobra. He goes for the pin, but it’s broken up by Ziggler.

The finish:

Ziggler misses a splash in the corner. Ryder comes in and mokey flips Ziggler, then hits Miz with a neckbreaker. Ryder goes for the rough Ryder, launching over Miz and hitting Ziggler. Eve gets in the ring to celebrate with Ryder, doing the Woo Woo Woo fist pump. He’s distracted, and Miz sneaks in and hits the SCF, going for the pin and getting the three count.

CM Punk is shown warming up backstage as Team Johnny walks by. Ace says he knows Punk saw what happened. He says Punk looks kind of angry. He looks like he wants to beat Jericho up. Ace says he doesn’t want a brawl, he wants a wrestling match. So to ensure that, if Punk loses his temper and gets DQ’ed, he’ll lose his title too.

WWE Championship Match
- CM Punk (c) vs. Chris Jericho

The entrances:

Back in the arena, the lights go out for Chris Jericho’s entrance. Jericho comes out with a brand new light up jacket on. He makes his way to the ring quickly.

We get a quick recap of some of the comments Jericho has made over the past few weeks about CM Punk’s family.

CM Punk is out next, and forget about pyro, because the champ has straight up fireworks on his way out to the ring.

The start:

The bell rings, and Punk grins at Jericho. Jericho backs Punk into the ropes, and the two fight for position around the ring. They trade positioning a couple of times before Punk takes Jericho down to the mat. Jericho attempts to fight up, but Punk hits him with a couple of clubbing blows to the face. Punk hits Jericho with a big chop and a knee to the gut, flipping him over. Punk hits Jericho with a big elbow to the side of the head, then a couple of boots. Jericho rears back and slaps Punk across the face.

Mid-match notes:

Punk stomps away at Jericho in the corner, having to be counted away by the ref. Jericho comes up with another slap to the face. Punk hits him with a dropkick and another series of rights, having to be pulled away by the ref. Jericho yells at Punk, asking how his father is.

Punk hits him with a running knee to the face, then holds his arms and administers elbows to the side of Jericho’s face. Punk slams Jericho to the mat, then heads up to the top turnbuckle.

Jericho rolls out of the ring, so Punk dives to the floor with a clothesline to take out Jericho. Jericho asks how Punk’s sister is. Punk grabs a chair and Jericho rolls into the ring. Punk wont hit Jericho, but Jericho is screaming insults at Punk’s family. Punk drops the chair and hits Jericho with a kick to the gut. Jericho responds with a dropkick out of the corner from the bottom rope. Jericho hits Punk with a series of rights to the back of the head.

Jericho hits Punk with a big elbow, and the two men fight out to the apron. Punk tries for the G2S on the apron, but Jericho fights out, and hits him with a clothesline that sends him back into the ring. Jericho suplexes Punk from inside of the ring to the floor on the outside.

Jericho hits Punk with a nasty kick before sending him back into the ring. Jericho goes for the cover, but Punk kicks out. Jericho butterflies the arms and hits a nice back breaker before going straight into a rear chin lock. Jericho rears back, putting all the pressure on Punk’s neck and back.

Punk is able to fight to his feet, slapping Jericho, but he runs right into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for another near fall. Jericho lays in with a nasty kick to the spine before planting himself on Punk and getting another near fall. Jericho mounts Punk and hits him with a series of rights before he’s called off by the ref. Jericho catches Punk with a stomp and a kick to the back. Punk fights back with strikes and a big boot, but when he goes up in the corner, Jericho pulls him off the top rope hard. Jericho goes for the pin, but he’s only able to get two. Jericho pulls back on Punk’s arms, but Punk fights out of the submission. Punk rises to his feet, but runs right into a big boot. Punk avoids a bulldog, and Jericho crashes into the corner.

Punk begins to fight back with more strikes, a big knee, a clothesline and a neckbreaker for his own near fall. Punk picks Jericho up and slams him back down to the mat. Punk heads up to the top, stopping for a moment to soak everything in. Punk goes for the elbow drop, but Jericho gets his knees up. Jericho hits the code breaker, but Punk rolls to the outside.

Jericho heads out after Punk and struggles to get him back in the ring, finally managing it. Jericho is shouldered by Punk and Punk hits the G2S!

Punk crawls over into the cover, but Jericho is able to get his leg on the bottom rope. Punk hits Jericho with repeated kicks, then a nice quick scoop slam. Punk gets another two count, and looks to be getting frustrated. Punk goes for a suplex but Jericho counters. Both men try to gain the advantage, and Jericho does so by suplexing Punk into the top rope. Jericho hits the lionsault and goes for the pin, but Punk is able to kick out. Punk sits Jericho on the top rope and hits him with a couple of strikes, and a nasty head butt. Punk follows up after Jericho and tries for a hurricanrana, but Jericho stops him, drops down to the mat, walks Punk out to the middle of the ring, and locks in the walls of Jericho!

Punk makes it to the ropes to force a break. Jericho argues with the ref for a bit, then turns around into a back drop over the top rope from Punk. Punk follows to the outside by diving through the ropes to take out Jericho against the barricade. Punk sends Jericho into the ring post hard.

Back in the ring, Punk goes to the top and leaps off, right into a code breaker from Jericho. Jericho goes for the pin, but Punk wont stay down for a three count. Jericho grabs Punk’s head and talks trash to him. Punk shoulders Jericho. Jericho fights out, but Punk does it again. Jericho fights out a second time, and hits Punk with a couple of big clubbing blows, and a soccer ball kick to the gut. Jericho heads up to the top rope, but Punk stops him with a kick to the back.

Punk pulls Jericho off the top on his shoulders. Punk tries for the G2S, but Jericho catches his leg and goes right into the Walls of Jericho. Jericho pulls back, putting all his weight on Punk’s back. Punk is in the middle of the ring. He slowly makes his way to the ropes. Jericho pulls him back into the middle of the ring. Punk is able to fight out of the hold and he rolls Jericho up. Both men trade small packages. Punk comes up with the anaconda vice. Jericho tries a roll up. Punk kicks out and holds on to the submission.

Jericho fights out of the hold and tries for the Walls again. Punk wont let him get it locked in. Punk kicks his way out of the hold and works his way back into the anaconda vice. Punk rips at Jericho’s arm and Jericho is forced to tap out.

Winner & STILL WWE Champion, CM Punk
 
The referee hands the title to Punk, who rips it out of his hands. Punk holds the belt up and celebrates while Jericho looks on sadly.

It’s not really in the ring, but it’s not backstage. But anyway, Brodus Clay makes his way out with backup dancers, and he asks everyone to get out their phones to call their mothers. A fan is shown on screen calling his mother. Brodus calls his own mother, letting her know he’s at WrestleMania. Brodus’ mama is apparently in attendance. Clay introduces his mama, Mama Clay.

A woman with some pretty ridiculous costume enhancements makes her way out to dance with Clay. A whole group of similarly dressed women makes their way out to all dance in sync. I just don’t know what else to say about this.

WWE Championship Match
- John Cena vs. The Rock

The entrances:

We get a video package, one that we’ve all seen many times (I’ve seen it at least six times tonight, alone) to set up the once-in-a-lifetime meeting between icons.

Shawn “Diddy” Combs, of all people is introduced. He asks the people of WrestleMania and Orlando if they’re ready. Combs introduces MGK who’s here to perform “Invincible” to bring John Cena out to the ring.

In the middle of the song, Kelly says the tonight, millions of people are here to see one of the biggest egos beaten by one of the biggest underdog. He defines underdog, and says he and John Cena are underdogs, and they rise above hate. Kelly and his backers make their way to the back as Cena’s regualy music hits, and he comes out to the ring sporting a new green color combo.

Flo Rida is out next to do the other song that we’ve heard ad naseum in the buildup to WrestleMania. I can’t complain too much though, simply because both performances were pretty good, and better than other past musical guests like Kid Rock.

Flo Rida heads to the back as The Rock’s music hits, and the man himself makes his in-ring return to the biggest stage in professional wrestling. Rock gets a great reception from the crowd, definitely much more positive than Cena’s.

We get formal ring introductions for both men. Cena’s reaction is overwhelmingly negative, while Rock’s is completely positive.

Both men soak it all in, in the middle of the ring. The bell rings and the crowd goes nuts. We get a lock up and neither man wants to give an inch. Cena shoves Rock away.

The start:

Another lock up and this time Rock shoves Cena away. These two men have the crowd completely eating out of their hand. Rock locks in a side headlock. Rock turns it into a hammerlock, but Cena reverses. Rock is able to take Cena over with a pair of armdrags, then he rolls up Cena with a la magistral. Cena kicks out, but he looks shocked.

Another lock up, and another headlock from the Rock. Cena pushes Rock off and eats a shoulderblock. Cena hits a big hip toss, then takes Rock over and down to the mat with a headlock. Rock is able to fight up to his feet and out of the hold.

Mid-match notes:

Rock takes Cena off of his feet, and Cena rolls to the outside. Cena heads back into the ring, but he’s caught with a kick to the chest from Rock. Cena backs Rock up into the corner, then buries his shoulder in Rock’s gut. Cena backs across the ring and charges in again with another shoulder to the midsection. Cena nearly takes Rock’s head off with a giant clothesline.

Rock kicks out of a near fall attempt, but Cena goes right to locking in a bear hug down on the mat. Rock is able to fight up to his feet and blast Cena with a couple of rights to the side of the head. Rock charges Cena, but Cena low-bridges the Rock and Rocky ends up crashing to the outside.

Cena heads out after Rock and plants him ribs first on the barricade. Cena follows Rock around the ringside area and slams him down on the announce table. Cena rolls back into the ring before heading right back toward the Rock and laying in with a big kick to the ribs. Cena rolls Rock into the ring and goes for a pin, but he’s only able to get a two count.

Cena stomps away at Rock, continuing the assault. Cena hits Rock with a belly to belly suplex that’s good enough to put him down for another two count. Cena goes for a right, but Rock blocks it and hits a couple rights of his own. Cena stops Rock’s momentum with a big bear hug in the middle of the ring. Cena hoists Rock up off his feet to add even more pressure to Rocky’s back.

Rock is able to fight his way out of the hold and puts Cena down for a near fall, but he can’t keep Cena down. Rock picks Cena up, and Cena begins to hit Rock with a series of punches. Rock comes back with a series of punches of his own before hitting a big flying clothesline, and a spinebuster. Rock teases the People’s elbow, but Cena counters into the STF. Rock fights out, but Cena hits a couple of shoulder blocks, and puts Rock down with a belly to back suplex. Cena says Rock can’t see him, and hits the five knuckle shuffle.

Cena shoulders Rock, but Rock fights out. Both men connects with clotheslines, and both go down.

Both men get to their feet and trade rights in the middle of the ring. Cena is able to shoulder Rock, and he scores with the AA. Cena goes for the pin, but Rock is able to kick out at two.

Cena picks Rock up, and eats a quick Rock bottom. Rocky goes for the pin, but Cena wont stay down for three. Rock charges Cena in the corner, laying in with right hands and elbows. Cena fights back with a side slam for another near fall.

Cena heads up to the top rope and leaps off with a giant leg drop to the back of the neck. Cena pins Rock, but this one still isn’t over. Cena waits for Rock to stand and tries for the AA again, but Rock fights it off and takes Cena down to the mat. Rock locks in the sharpshooter, and turns it over. Cena’s screaming, but he’s able to make it to the ropes to force a break. Rock mounts Cena and hits him with a barrage of rights before dragging him back toward the middle of the ring and locking the sharpshooter back on.

Cena breaks the hold again by getting to the ropes. Rock bails to the outside and hits Cena with a couple of shots. Rock hits Cena with an elbow to the back of the neck and Cena falls from the ring. Rock picks Cena up and launches him into the ring steps.

Rock sends Cena into the steps again and Cena tries to head into the ring. Rock heads into the ring, and Cena recovers and is able to surprise Rock in the ring, locking in the STF. Cena pulls back, but Rock wont quit. Cena pulls Rock toward the center of the ring and locks on the hold again, pulling back with all his might.

Rock fades, going limp. The ref lifts up Rock’s arm for one. Two. But Rock wont stay down for three. Rock inches over into the ropes, forcing Cena to break the hold.

Rock is able to connect with a Samoan drop out of nowhere, and both men are down. Both get back to their feet, where they trade rights again. Rock tries for the Rock bottom but Cena blocks. Cena tries for the AA but Rock fights it off. Rock hits a spinebuster and plants Cena in the middle of the ring. Rock takes his elbow pad off and tosses it to the crowd before hitting the People’s elbow. Cena refuses to stay down though, and he kicks out at two.

Cena catches Rock with a small package for two. Cena takes Rock off of his feet and slingshots him into the corner. Cena rolls Rock up for another two count.

The finish:

Cena pulls Rock to his feet, powering him into the corner. Cena seats Rock on the top turnbuckle. Cena heads up after Rock, but Rock fights him off. Rock shoves Cena to the mat. Rock stands on the top and hits a cross body, but Cena rolls through and powers the Rock up. Cena stands, shoulders the Rock, and hits the AA, but it’s still not enough for a three count!

Cena kicks Rocks arms in, and he teases the People’s elbow, but Rock hops up and delivers the Rock bottom for a three count.

Winner: The Rock
 
Dang BV, you REALLY got into detail with these play by plays. The only matches I was interested were CM Punk/ Jericho and Rock/ Cena.

I didn't think Punk would win and I could have SWORE Cena was going to beat the Rock as a passing of the guard.
 
When is King Kong Bundy making a comeback? What about the Rock and Roll Express vs The Midnight Express? Does Zane Smith still wrestle and does he hold the record for the most consecutive losses of all time? Will we ever see George The Animal Steele shave his back?

I loved wrestling in the 80's as you can tell, but i kind of lost track after Lex Lugar betrayed the 4 horsemen.

Dang, you ARE an 80's wrestling fanatic to remember Lex Luger's betrayal. I have to admit though, those were the good ole days.
 
I haven't watched wrestling since the 90's. Well, that's not totally true. I do tune in once in awhile to see what's new. But then I go like a good two years before I tune in for one show of it.

I think the moment I grew into my teen's was when I stopped caring for it. Because that's when I realized it wasn't real.
