ECW! ECW! ECW...?

Hmm...I'll have to read up on that one.

I love the Hitman series. It gets to the point and presents itself in a very cool way. I haven't tried many other stealth games, but I can't imagine they'd give me any more than this series could.

Dirge has Vincent Valentine from the final fantasy series. It's a shooter. I'll make a thread about it in the games section.

This is the first game I've played from the Hitman series. It's really pretty fun. But, if you **** up doing something, even a little...you **** up ROYALLY. lol

Cool. And indeed! The guards in the game don't play. I've done stupid things like take a weapon out accidentally or run when I wasn't supposed to, and I was full of holes before I knew what hit me.

But...

er...

To get the thread back on track, uh...

Kelly Kelly's hardcore!! :shifty:

so did stonecold join yet? i wat him to teach us about wresting.....

he used to be a worker u know.... we need his inside knowledge....... coz hes cool and....... stuff

ya im seeing kelly **** w/ the sandman..... she woulda been in the old ecw..... but this bizarro version has no rhyme or reason.....

I saw that on the "coming soon' rack at Gamestop the other day, so I got Hitman: Blood Money instead.

I think they're still trying to bring in a bigger audience by putting non-ECW guys that people are more familiar with onto the show. Trying to bring the generic WWE fans on board.

(Wow, I'm actually being optimistic)

It just came out yesterday.

And I think trying to bring more than just ecdub fans is a good idea, I just wish that the show was focused more on wrestling and on the whole roster. But it seems like with RVD and Angle gone they are just going to ride with Sabu and Show as being ECW with a little Test and Knox/Sandman tossed in.

Conveniently enough, Punk's promo concerned the anticipation for his debut. He mentioned that people want to see him, but he's going to make us wait (or something like that. I've forgotten the particulars that quickly). So it looks like they're going to stretch this one out a bit.

Figures.

Maybe I'll just wait to pay attention until Punk, Angle and RVD are all back in the ring.

I think they're just using the ECW show as an extra vehicle to promote the WWE PPVs and at this point, I've decided that was the plan all along, as from the very beginning, the main events were built around bringing in who was being pushed for the upcoming PPV (Edge, Cena, Lita's **** etc).... unfortunatly now we get that mess with the Undertaker last night. How Joey Style's could refer to that travisty as the "biggest main event in the history of ECW" and still go home and look at himself in the mirror is beyond me. Money seriously drives people to do some shameless things.

i'll post my commentary on this mess tomorrow.......

Man I don't even know where to begin..... I guess the Smackdown crowd enjoyed it, and appearently that's all that matters..... so I'm just gonna leave it at that this week....

I guess they can't do much with an hour, but at this point as little as I bother to watch tv, it seems like an hour I am not usually going to want to spend on ECW.

I think sometimes those shows were jam packed and then others it seemed like I was watching a show filled with local indie talent.

But back then I think they had something to sell and a desire for the viewer to buy it and buy into it.

The WWE hasn't acted like that in a long time.

One thing that would help, I think is if they went back to the "Pulp Interview" to close out the show. The way it is now, they're not getting enough people TV time or building up any angles other than the few debuts and Sandman/Sabu/Test/Dreamer/Show stuff. That was the one sylistic choice ECW made that really impressed me, production wise over what WWF and WCW were doing at the time. It always seemed like 75% of their roster got TV time every week and moved issues forward, even if half of them hardly ever wrestled.
