ECW! ECW! ECW...?

Heh...... so it takes Flair to finally take ECW back to the "Extreme!"
Note to The Nature Boy..... next time you know you're going to be thrown into a pile of thumbtacks, it will probably be a good idea to make sure your kneepads are in place! That was the most painful looking **** I've ever seen.
Ten years ago Shane Douglas said Ric Flair couldn't wrestle the ECW style....now here it is a decade later, Douglas is a broken down shell of his former self, and Natch is still putting on the most entertaining matches in wrestling!
If they really feel the need to have a weekly stripper on ECW... Fire Kelly... Hire Candice. And thank God for the Sandman..... finally 2 segments that were leading nowhere came together and (almost) made a little ****ing sense.
Given recent events, tonight's show was a LOT better than I was expecting.....
Maybe Heyman is the Messiah afterall! :shifty:
(Just kidding.... I know Vince is the Messiah.... Heyman just plays one on tv)

No they dont re-run it. The Flair match was the only thing of note that you missed and you can probably find it to download at one of the wrestling forums or you tube etc.

A source in WWE merchandising says that they will be discontinuing the EC F'N Shirt soon. The shirt, which was a huge seller for ECW back in the nineties and was patterned by Paul Heyman after a very popular Guns N Roses shirt from time period, was the best selling shirt in ECW history. Vince McMahon reportedly feels that the shirt is too crass (!?!?!?!?) and will turn off potential advertisers. :lol:

Yeah... the EC F'N W shirt is "Crass"... But having Mae Young give birth to a goo covered hand, watching Vince pull various objects out of Jim Ross' **** and seeing the McMahon's and the Spirit Squad roll around on stage covered in **** is acceptable.

That Kelly chick looks ok in a Generic sort of way.... but she doesn't belong on "ECW" she should be in that wwe Diva search crap instead. That whole "dance" segment is a waste of 5 minutes that could be used to push the actual wrestlers, or add time to the main event ect.

Alright...I'm not gonna go looking for the TSG pistol, but this was still an average to below average show.
Kelly getting caned was a genuine "oh my god!" moment. I sure hope she agreed to take a shot that hard ahead of time, cause if not, ol' Sandy might be in some trouble on that one.

I don't like that Paul E. is an on-screen character, and I'm not sure where this angle is going, but damned if him kissing Dreamer wasn't the last thing I expected (well...WANTED) to see.

Yay for Sabu. I'm getting tired of this differentiation between extreme rules and regular rules in ECW, for crying out loud, but his match was watchable. One positive that could come out of the extreme/not extreme rules distinction is if they start an angle where Sabu fights someone to earn the right to wrestle nothing but extreme rules matches. I'd actually care about that angle, because...well...if I have to see Sabu use a backslide ever again, my head's going in the oven!
(And have you noticed how Sabu always takes the spike out of his boot after every match, but the commentators never mention it? I wonder if Vince considers that "too extreme?")
