Circumcision

 I honestly don't recall. It was a rebound and we just smoked a bowl and had sex. It didn't last very long bc it/he didn't do an.y.thing for me. But that speaks to him, not his ugly snake.

why you making me look up words...

I am a complete square when it pertains to drugs....Nancy Reagan would have been so proud....

My IRL name is Raegan and I wish my iPhone would be smart enough to know that and not correct it.

Anyways. Smoke a bowl is weed in a glass or metal pipe/bowl. My preferred method of smoking back in the day. Bombs get me too high and joints are too hard to roll. One hitters were a waste of time. And now you have it. :bowing:

Fiya you would like it............pipe is involved.

Thanks again for your input, everyone! I talked with DH some more about it tonight. Usually he lets me do the reading and research and all that, then I tell him what I found, and we come to some sort of consensus. Tonight he said it makes his stomach churn to think about the procedure, and he doesn't really want to put his little boy through that. It's also possible our insurance won't cover it...we have the Ohio version of AllKids, and it definitely doesn't cover cosmetic procedures. I'm just not sure if they consider this to be cosmetic or not.

YEAH!!!!!

Now you are going to have to be strong in the hospital. They are going to push it on you at every chance they can get.

Jonny is circumcised and I don't regret it. I left the decision to Pat. If we would have another child and it would be a boy, same thing...up to Pat, and he would probably have it done again.

Pat actually watched Jonny's circumcision.

Steve..... In case haven't mentioned it lately........ I love you!

I know that does nothing for you...... Unless the name georgie implies a guy....maybe that could sway you a bit.......

Nevertheless...... You are wonderful beyond words! You are such a blessing to our family!

:shesaid:

I would actually develop a birthinf plan (if you haven't done so already) and put it in there and put it on the top in bold red letters.

We have elected to not have our son circumsized. We have done all the research we find necessary and we would not like to discuss the manner further.

That way each shift will see it.

Give the birthplan to your doctor to have them send it to the hospital and put it in your file.

We had a natural birth and there were numerous things I did not want happening to our child or me (no pitocin shot for placenta delivery, not IV lock, no eye gook on the baby, no Hep shot for baby, etc. ) I developed a birthing plan stating how I felt about everything and wanted everything done because I did not want to discuss anything when I was in the middle of labor or in the middle of enjoying my first hours with my new baby.

I chose not to circumcise either of my boys. My DH and I did do some research on it and decided together that we didn't want it done because of the pain and risks involved and there was no proven medical reason to have it done. I have never been one to do things just because "everyone else is doing it" so that part of it never even factored into my thought process.

This topic came up when I was pregnant and one of my other friends was pregnant at the same time. When I asked her why she was planning on having her son circumcised, her response was basically "well, everyone does it." I suppose that's a reason but it kind of reminds me of when I was younger and having discussions with my parents about drugs and alcohol and they said to me "So if everyone is drinking and doing drugs at this party, you are going to do the same?"

Maybe it's just me but I could never do something, esp a medical procedure, just because it's popular or it's what other people are doing.

Good luck to you as you make your decision. Only you can make the decision that is right for you.
