Dakota Fanning explicit rape scene

That is sick, I will never see that movie. I am shocked it doesn't have a NC-17 rating or be banned.
 
It's not even the ick factor of the scene it also has to do with nasty people that will want to see it and act it out on innocent children to 'get a thrill'. People imitate the movies in many ways such as lying on the ground to allow cars to roll over you and such. Maybe the risk with doing the movie in this way will highten the lust that potential, former or current sexual predators have.
 
I don't think the movie should be banned for that reason. Just think they are taking it too far from what I hear. I won't judge it since I would have to see it to judge it and I refuse to see it. People that do acts like that are truly sick.
 
Why not? The FCC has been able to ban many other thing only because of potential dangers. As far as I can see this borders on the edge of kiddie porn in which there is never a justifiable reason for no matter who you are or what your trying to get out of it. Oscar my ****, that's her mothers whole deal for this. Using her daughter to put an extra buck in the bank, if she wins an Oscar she can up the going rate for her appearances and that is the motivation for her mother to encourage this. Money talks, inhibition walks.
 
I hate the FCC they ruin TV for people like me. I want to hear the profanity, see the nudity, violence, and whatever else. One of the thing I don't like about this country is that it is exclusive setup for families and otherwise they don't give a dam. It's called a V-Chip use it and don't ruin TV. I hate these groups the try to censor TV and video games what they do is a crime.
 
Yeah well "accidents" like the Janet Jackson slip do happen. They are trying to prevent that. I have often wondered who decides what stays and goes. Lots of words are bleeped out but anyone can call a woman a **** on TV or radio and it's OK.
 
How often does that happen? I think they should allow curse words on TV and radio and whatever else. It should be the parents job to censor what their kids see not the FCC. It isn't fair that these things get ruined for people my age who can enjoy these things. People are too self centered only seeing one side of it.
 
Name a day of the week. You can watch any show or tv movie that actually has cuss words and they will bleep out many words but that one. And it's not self centered and remember people usually feel differently about a lot of things before they actually have to deal with them.
 
I just want it to be that I can see whatever I want without someone complaining that it might be damaging to younger children. This country has more than just families in it.
 
Perhaps they should have the show run in "family friendly mode" or the original mode. With viewers choice you can watch it either way. Again there is always the V chip.
 
That seems fair, but you should be able to see the same show uncensored at the same time.
 
That is what I was saying. You can watch one channel that has the language and scenes censored or the other channel with it all hanging out! LOL Same show - different channel!
 
Yea I think that is what they need to balance things. The V Chip then makes sure the uncensored channels get blocked.
 
even music videos drive me nuts. People will bleep out the word God, but they will keep **** in the video. How does that work?
 
They just like to complain and ruin everyone else entertainment since they can no longer enjoy it since they have kids.
 
Censorship sucks the hairy **** big time. I still have a hard time seeing why things need to be censored here. We are all mature enough, so why bother. We live in the real world not a fiary tale so deal.

Thank You, it should not be censored. The parent's should do the censoring so they rest of us can enjoy TV. I feel its a crime that TV is being censored, its saying that freedom of speech isn't allowed.
