Fall Cleaning 2011:

decided to tackle the clutter of the kitchen today. Emptied the food cabinets and then organized them. Have to throw out 3 boxes of cereal as no one will eat this Just cleaned out the pots n pans and lids cabinets. 1 left and it includes the "lazy susan"... its a **** to clean as stuff gets lost behind there

Dee, Can you share your apple butter recipe? I am home cooking and freezing all of the fresh produce that I picked from my in-laws garden while I was housesitting.

You'd be proud of me coach. I ended up getting up a little earlier this morning and was ready for work with about 20 minutes to spare. I figured I'd put the time to good use and changed the sheets and made up my bed. Not sure how neat it will look when I get home since Chloe likes to bunch up the blanket at the bottom but at least all the bedding is fresh and clean.

I'm late to this thread but I have been de-cluttering (with the help of my mom and my friend), the ENTIRE summer. I thought that I would be done by now but getting things ready for the baby has really added to the mix. But...my mom is here again today and she insisted that I sit for a minute. I gave myself a break while laundry is going. I am going to keep up with this thread for the extra kick in the butt! LOVE IT, OP!!!! Oh yesterday, I finished organizing the baby's clothes and am working on organizing socks, bibs, hair accessories and more in the new basket that I got for those things.

vacuumed upstairs
load of laundry now in the dryer
cleaned out and refilled the litter boxes

Taking a little break and then I think it's time to steam mop upstairs.
