Hot Work Gossip that I can't tell anyone

At my old work I had a guy that would order porn movies in his hotel room and would sneak it onto his expense reports. NICE!!!

I used to administer the AMEX corp cards when I worked at Grainger. I hated having to "investigate" these changes - I finally got the offenders to be switched over to AMEX Pro cards - because those are limited on where you can use them. At least they were back in the day, now there might not be any difference.

I did find out that this guy is not married....

Plus, he printed his AMEX bill and it got mixed in with some things I had printed. I glanced super quick and it said Stone Park. I thought right away, what is this guy doing in stone park.

Left the copy of his AMEX statement on the printer. Went back to my desk, pulled up his info and found out he was chilin at scores. I am going to guess since he printed his AMEX statement he was working on his expenses, so now I sit back and wait for him to try to expense it. It has to be expensed within 30 days, if he tries so we shall see....

No he is no where near HAWT...at all. He gives off that creepy guy vibe. (Looks down your shirt while your talk to him kind of guy.)

alleykat20,
Do you work in the auto industry? Because those type of lunches/dinners are common place in Detroit. If he is in a sales/smoozing type role, it might very well have been a legit business related expense. (food & beverages only, of course.)

Funny story, at the "establishment" across the street from my former auto industry employer, their lunch specials were much cheaper and better (so I heard) than the Chili's right next door. So, in actuality eating lunch there was a cost savings for those businessmen! LOL!!!

No I am a travel manager/office manager. He is a sales guy, but per the travel policy/expense policy it is prohibited. I did pull up his AMEX last 5 statements and it looks like he only went that Friday night/afternoon etc....

He wasn't eating lunches there for sure, because I can tell by the dollar amounts. I helped get one other person fired for this a few years back as well. The dollar amounts are $172.52 - that should be drinks/food. Then there is two more charges...$330 and $600. Lap dances...

(what happens in vegas stays in vegas. what happens in vegas stays in vegas, etc.)

I wonder if he'll itemizes those last two charges as "Dessert"???

Wow... Back in the day Scores charges came through as a catering/restaurant company on a statement.

I once had to audit a guys expenses where every single hotel stay had a porno rental and emptying of the mini bar expensed, and all of his overseas trips to China and Malaysia had escort services charged on the bill. After all the work I did, nothing happened to him. M

So still waiting on HR to decide, but so far they only want this guy to pay back the $1K he charged and they won't fire him. Crazy...so mad about this...

did he try to expense them?

Not only did he expense them, he billed it to our clients! He was given 3K to take his team to dinner/event, etc. Which he did on a friday in Feb, he spent 2K. The client gave him a budget of 3K, so he padded his strip club charges on that invoice (didn't provide receipts, just his AMEX statement that said SPE Entertainment.) that were for a different date completely. So clearly fraud. My boss is going to tell the CEO that the HR head didn't want him fired, since it was their call and put up a fight...

WHAT BULL#HIT!

I'd be pissed. So who from HR went to the club with him?

Not only that but keep a copy of the evidence (or at least write details in a journal) so that if you need a lil sumptin, sumtin' your way......you gots da good! :snicker:

Well my boss's agrument is that he has to sign an audit (we are a HUGE, GLOBAL company) that there was no fruad, etc. So he is telling the CFO he won't sign anything if this guy isn't fired, because then it could be blammed on finance.

Why won't he get fired? What photos does he have?
