My father was excited and he really liked her, and they quickly got along pretty well. Sometimes when I'm on the phone with him, he even asks to talk to her, so I would say he got a good first impression of her.

My mother was extremely excited to meet him after what I had told her about him. She laughs a lot at what he says so that's a good thing. And he thinks she's pretty cool soooo I'm really relieved. 
They were trying seem like cool parents, but it was just awkward
My dad and I picked Michael up from the train station and he barely said I word the whole way home, which was kinda worrying. They liked him though, they thought he was polite and really shy.
