He just woke up and doesn't feel too warm, but has a headache....I told him to go lay back down.

DH was going to take the 10 year old to Six Flags tomorrow, but because of the weather they're going some other time.

Will need before and after pics of your hair btw. ;)

Speaking of school......so I had been looking for my 8 year old's backpack from last school year all summer because it has his Bible and hymnal in it. Well just found it in DH's trunk. His teacher did send home MANY sheets of extra work he could do to keep sharp. Oops. They went into the recycling bag.....too late for that. :redface:

OMG!!!! That is freaking hysterical!!!! Totally just laughed out loud! OMG, I am totally sharing that with my teacher friends!
 
Oy vay! Just took DS's temp again....101.3. Only had liquid Tylenol cold so I gave him that. Will have to stock up on Tylenol and Motrin tomorrow. :(

When he was 2 (or 3?) we went to Disney Land and he was sick and feverish the whole time. He stayed in the stroller with a blanket on. :(

Last summer we went to Disney World and DD5 threw up one morning and was sick...and (mother of the year) kept saying to her...how do you feel now? do you think you're ok for the beach? how bout now?

I'm terrible. But she felt better and we made it to Cocoa Beach that day.
I hate when kids are sick.
 
DH new job has him working Saturdays and DS is at his moms...just me and a glass of momma juice :)
 
If you drink it fast enough, it'll turn into the good stuff! Well or at least it'll numb your taste buds anyway :)

I'm having a Capt'n & diet & watchin' the Cubs. Storms are a rollin' in.....Sadie is already in hiding in my room. My 8 year old woke up with a fever of 101.5 this morning. Gave him two chewable Motrin which did the trick for hours then a couple hours ago he started feeling crappy again. He's been sleeping in my bed now for a couple hours. I think part of the reason he's sick is he hasn't slept for crap for several nights now. He keeps waking up, wandering around the house, sleeping in our bed, the recliner, the couch, etc. Hopefully he just needs extra sleep. :(

DS (10) has a scrimmage football game tomorrow morning.

Marinate them in brown sugar. Then bake them. They are soooo good, it is almost a sin. DH's BIL calls them "heart attack on a stick".
