Guys, I am planning to buy a new phone because of my brother's Birthday soon. As plan to present him with new smart. The question I face with is if my brother use Google maps and GPS almost daily, the phone on which platform is it better to buy? Windows phone or Android one?

I just got the new Windows 8 phones from Sprint. Liking them a lot so far. But I have had them only a few days so far.

iPhone is pretty expensive. I revised some variants, Lenovo a820 or Nokia Lumia 820. But I cannot decide whether it is better to buy Windows phone or Android one. Guys, don't you know what platform GPS works better on? Or it does not matter?

I've never had any problems on my Samsung Galaxy SII running Android with Google Maps/GPS. I once used it to walk home from a job interview when I got lost. But I am not too sure about any other smart phone OS.

I'd say if its all upto GPS and Maps, they work better on Android than windows mobile, that is my experience. So an android would be a good choice for your brother.

Android allways android. Anything HTC would be suitable depending on your price budget. Don't think I will buying any apple Iphones in the near future with problems around them from most people.

Thanks, guys. Your suggestions are very important for me. I read some feedbacks and then read what you suggested. You know, I will buy Android phone probably. Think it will be more convenient in use for my brother.

How is about Lenovo? Are they good in their mobile production? Feedbacks of satisfied customers are lots. Has anybody had Lenovo experience?
