Wow, that is beautiful!!! You put me to shame. Here and I have been focusing on the taste of the cake and icing, but not much thought in the look of the cake. I'm pretty sure I could never get a whipped cream icing to do that, it barely stayes on the cake.

Sis is out of recovery, sitting up & smiling on the morphine drip. Too soon to know how much better she will feel once the morphine stops, but she can definitely breathe easier for now.
They removed 1300 cc of fluid [about 44 ounces] :faint: from around her lungs.
They'll keep her at least overnight, then send her home with visiting nurses to help her & mom.
I am so relieved that it went well & she came out of the general anesthesia okay. I swear ignorance is bliss at times like this, when a loved one undergoes surgery. Our bro was even more stressed out than I was, he knows too many remote possibilities for complications to ever rest easy. As a doc treating his patients, he is the picture of calm & control, unflappable. But when it comes to family, he turns to mush, strong, but mush.
