Am I the only one who loves the thought of winter coming when it's 100 degrees and hot as Hades in the middle of summer?

And am I the only one who loves the thought of summer coming when it's cold outside and my windows are drafty as hell and I almost fall down in the middle of my driveway when I walk out to get the mail?

I wouldn't mind a little Spring right now.

It's snowing. :surrender: We're not supposed to get more than an inch or two but since the ground is basically frozen, whatever falls will stick.

Train ahead of mine hit a car..... It'll be 2-3 hours on the train tonight and no seeing the kids before bed. Hope everyone is okay but this stinks....

DS is really interested in graduating early from high school. If he does it means by this time next year he would be done.

Where has the time gone?!

I really do think I hate everyone. It is easier that way.

ITA.
New DD7 had a friend over today & I met her mom when she picked the kid up tonight. The whole time I'm talking to her I'm thinking, "Not gonna be friendsssss!" I am too old for this ****. I am the oldest 37 year old ever. I am finding that it is easier to give people my raised eyebrow look & nod than it is to say, "HIIII!!!"

Sitting at walmarts waiting for my tires to be fixed. They keep leaking air. I guess the rims have corrosion and flaking inside them making the tires leak. Oh well. $40 is better than buying new tires right now

Am I the only who wishes it stays springy and fall-like everyday? LOL

I have not stepped out the door since the temperature dropped.

Just checked out of new 30,000 sqft+ Walmart. Yes the prices are pretty good and would likely pummel Jewel and some over priced independent nearby. It has parking in the building as expected. Also will give Trader Joes a run for their money.

But what was corporate smoking when they signed a lease such that...

validated parking costs $4.00 after purchase validation. :dunce::dunce::wtf?::mad:
Even Whole Paycheck(Foods) has free parking so does the little Walmart close to me. The Walmart shopper, I may be wrong, would not seem to be the type willing to pay to shop for groceries when all the other grocery stores parking is free.

The store manager covered my parking today and says they have been working on it for 6 months pre-opening. He said he's been getting lots of complaints, Duh! Corporate should have figured it out before they signed the lease not now. If it doesn't change I don't think they'll be happy with sales.

Me too! I could totally do without Winter and Summer. Just think how low the gas/electric bills would be. :bliss:

:shesaid: and I think she should have her own thread, so we don't have to miss anything :)

I do! Joy started it. :) I've updated it a few times... I don't have anything new to report lately because they are still naughty & we haven't switched therapists.

Last night we went to our volleyball game & SD18 babysat them for an hour. The boy pooped on the floor. He has NEVER done that. They don't like it when I leave.

Huh. I wonder if that's what's happening to mine. Tire pressure light went on yesterday and I finally made it to Sam's (after passing two stations with the air hoses out of service and another where I swear it wasn't really putting out any air). All tires were at 25 or 20 psi. The guy was amazed I'd gotten from Glenview to Vernon Hills like that. But I just got new tires in July. You'd think they'd have noticed corrosion at the time.
