Val's kids have pinned a million cute animals pictures again. Cracks me up every time. :lol: Way better than going on my Pinterest & seeing DD18 pinning a million "dream wedding" ideas. :gah:

Taking DD16 to the urgent care in the morning. She injured her ankle today in taekwondo. Not sure if it is a sprain or if it is broken. Sigh. This kid has broken so many bones. I'm about ready to put her in bubble wrap. All day I wanted to take her to urgent care for an x-ray. All day she said she wanted to wait. Changed her mind 6 minutes prior to closing time. I hope she can get some sleep tonight, and we'll go first thing in the morning.
 
Today(Saturday) ****ing SUCKED. This is what happened, in order.

Jonny started his new ADHD med today. I had to be at work at 1, so I didnt get to experience much of his day. Which is fine..but it made me sad :( THEN...

Accusing child showed up at work today. And wanted to talk to me. Um, hell no.

Then one of my very pregnant minions went into early labor while on my clock. Her c-section is scheduled for the 30th. She left to go to the ER and I couldnt find anyone to replace her.

My closer comes in and he begins puking every half hour or so. Great. I try to find someone to close for him and no one will. The other person, the closer's recent ex-gf, refuses to close and tells me that I dont have the authority to "make" her stay. Umm, yes I do. It clearly states on the schedule that you may be cut earlier or asked to stay later than your scheduled shift. The schedule is not what we go on, business and staff is what we go on. She is 18 and dumb(no really she is) I told her if she walks out, that I will take that as resignation of her position. She said what does that mean? I said exactly.

I mean, it is like 3-4 days attacked me in a few hours. On a happy note, tho, Jonny did FANTASTIC on his meds today! Pat said he was very very impressed with how Jon was today. Hoping for continued good days!!
 
I think you can change it still. Don't ask me how:lol: I would guess it's somewhere under settings.

I like mine just being the initial of my last name.

Oh get this. Dh and I have neighbor friends from the old Hood. They are now getting married and I've been sent an invite for the shower. She asked me on fb what my last name is lol
So now I get the wedding invite.... it just has my first name and DH's nickname. Talk about formal :slap:
 
is it a bad sign when your mechanics loaner car won't start?
stuck in meijer parking lot waiting for AAA, hoping i just needs a jump, lots of short trips today... hoping that's all but it's not like its mine, haaha.
 
trying to get the motivation to get off my butt and get to the gym. I am dressed and the car is warming up, I just dont feel like going

Name settings --->

I have my name as First name, married last name

Then there is a place for Alternative Name- I put first name maiden name.

So it shows up

She's keeping her New Year's resolution to spend less time on the internet as a whole. I pop in every few days, resist the urge to comment on everything I am thinking and give in where I feel like I can't resist ;)

There just aren't enough hours in my days lately, my blood pressure is very unhappy with me which is giving me screaming headaches so I'm just trying to pull back a little.

So, I took DD to the urgent care this morning and they took x-rays of her foot/ankle etc. Nothing broken, but it is sprained. The doctor told me to pick up an air cast for her to give some support and stability. I cannot find one anywhere and all of the medical supply places are closed today. Not sure if they even carry them. Was about to order one from Amazon and then thought I should check with the wise CW people to see if anyone knows where I could get one locally. Anyone????
 
They have a really good selection at Martin Ave Pharmacy on 75th St in Naperville. Is at 75th and Rickert, to the side of where the Taco Bell is. Before you get to the Garden Fresh Market.

They are closed on Sundays. But that is where we've gotten all our medical supplies.
 
Have you specifically seen air casts there though? I looked at their website and didn't see any air casts. I will look again in a bit, maybe I missed it. Got to run out now to pick up little DD.
 
There is a Walgreens at 1028 Elmhurst Rd, Mt Prospect, IL that still has a DME side to it that they kept when they took over the independent pharmacy that used to be there. They may have them. (847) 437-1858 ‎
 
Yes, we got an air cast for baby there a couple years ago and also when I needed addl support after coming out of the broken leg boot.

If you want some crutches I still have mine.
