Thinking that I am such a big baby sometimes ... LOL.
My 6 yo got his first cavity and needed a filling put in. I was a wreck worrying about how he would do with getting the shot to get numbed and dealing with the drill and all that jazz ... so I made DH drive home for lunch (he works in Oakbrook, we live in Schaumburg) to take him in for his appointment and I didn't go. I couldn't bear the thought of him crying and getting scared so I didn't go!
I worried for nothing because he did fine and the dentist said he was a great patient.

I feel really dumb.
Just took my dress long coat out of the closet to inspect it & try it on to see if I needed to run it to the dry cleaners, haven't worn it in over a year. I used to wear it daily when my office was in Providence. It was a wee bit snug as I've put on a few pounds in the last 18 months. But what made me feel stupid is I felt something lumpy hitting the bottom of the back of my neck. I heard something rattling a bit as I put it back on a hanger. Between the outer coat & the removable warm lining attached to the tag, was a little zipper bag with 4 extra buttons. I had been walking & driving around wearing that coat daily for over a year with that junk just hanging in there & never noticed it before. :faint:

:giggles: Don't feel bad, I almost walked out of the house not too long ago with a skirt on wrong side out. (In my defense, it was a print skirt and looked pretty similar on both sides - well minus the seams.) :hides:

I wore my shirt backwards to work the other day. Right side out, but front-to-back. Yep, had the tag rubbing the front of my neck for a good couple of hours before I noticed.

Woke up this morning to a cold house. The igniter on the furnace went out. Now dh is missing part of the morning at work so he can get a new igniter.
Still in the hospital. Dr came in early this morning and said she looks really good. Echo showed greatly improved Cardiac function. Her heart is still beating fast because of the inflammation frOm the ablation. Ep dr was very happy and optimistic. Thanks again everyone for all your thoughts an prayers!
