After we put our Rocky down, I swore "NO MORE DOGS." A month later we got Molly. LOVE HER and SHE LOVES ME (shhhhhhhh, don't tell DD as she thinks Molly is her dog.)
 
Having a crisis over my living room curtains...decided to change the color and now not sure I like that color...I need a decorator! HELP! IF you have darker color furniture say like a really dark brown wood...REALLY dark then what color curtains would you have? My floors are a light woodgrain color the furniture is a very dark brown and the sofa cover is burgundy...what a quandary!

And this is after we said...no more dogs after our beloved basset hound passed 9 years ago. I'm such a sucker. And I could not get rid of any of them ever...no matter how much they drive me crazy! Tortoise stays at school during the school year though...

So, nah, I don't think you're crazy. :)
 
I chickened out and sent DH to DS5's parent-teacher conference (it was at 7 p.m., right when we start putting the kids to bed). His teacher and I tend to make each other defensive, so I think it was for the best. The good news is that she's seen a lot of improvement in his behavior and she is finally going to implement a positive reinforcement system with him at school. She also said that because of his improved behavior, he has made more friends and gets along with the other kids much better.
 
moms coming tomorrow which means spending the evening cleaning the house. It needed it anyway, but i'd rather be sitting on the computer instead of doing weird household projects

I LOVED our stubborn, non listening, lover of a basset.
Once while we were eating dinner...his big eared floppiness walked up to the dinner table...lifted his leg on the table and went back to the couch and went to sleep. I could have KILLED him! This... :pms:is how he made me feel on a daily basis.

My tortoise is so ridiculously easy to care for! I only change the bedding out 2x a year! It's dry. I recommend a tortoise to any family who wants an easy pet!!!!! Some of my former students now have a tortoise because we have him in class. Easiest pet ever...
