so what are you thinking right now?

I guess it's safe to say I'm being a fed a super-sized **** sandwich today. The boy tested positive this morning for the flu. Apparently he has strain B which causes stomach problems with everything else. He's already thrown up. We usually don't have issues with throwing up a lot whenever we get sick so I know it's got to suck.

My mom has the flu. I feel like **** because I dropped the boy off on Tuesday while the girl and I went to park day because he didn't feel like going and now I'm pretty sure he is the reason why she has it. I hate getting other people sick. It's so inconsiderate so I try not to bring germs around others when we have them.

My daughter- Oh. My. God.
She is going to make me take a Xanax soon if she doesn't quit! She can be needy and jealous but today she has been the worse she has ever been. She cannot stand the fact that I have to nurse her brother today. She has been going ape **** the whole time. She is behaving like a total brat! I love her but ****! She's going to make me go take a xanax, drink alcohol and go take a bath if she doesn't quit it! Ok, maybe I won't go to that extreme but it sure is tempting.:surrender:

NO!!! DON'T PULL A WHITNEY!!!

My oldest son was/ is the same way when I have to take care of his little brother.............he's a total monster. I feel ya. :huggy:

I hope everyone feels better soon. :flowers:

So why didn't he put it away and why wasn't he watching her? I hope you gave it to him right back!

My DH leaves everything out every morning then takes off to work. I turn the coffee pot off, put the creamer away (I don't drink coffe anymore), put the lunch meat away, etc. :surrender:

Oh and then I go into the bedroom and pick up his dirty clothes, go into his bathroom and pick up his mess in there..................:ranting:

But it's my job because I'm home all day (I say that, he doesn't).........I have a feeling though that your DH wouldn't take it well if you told him that. :hides:

Yeah, he would just get depressed and even less would get done if I did that. I am not a neat person, I get it but it's not like he puts **** away.

I don't yell back at him, it just makes things worse. I just wait for him to calm down and apologize when he realizes what an **** he has been.

He suffers from depression and an anxiety disorder. I have learned the hard way how best to make this work, but some days it sucks ****.

Oh. I knew he had anxiety issues, didn't know about the depression. Does he take something for it?

Out of curiosity, what does he do all day (besides take care of the kids)? Does he do the house cleaning and cooking or do you still need to do that too (like a lot of women do lol)? Does he have a "CW" to play on?

Clars why did you have ketchup out in the morning anyway? Have a burger and fries for breakfast?

No, I forgot to put it away last night but I do eat ketchup on eggs. Sometimes if I get home a little late from going to the grocery store or other errands, I end up eating while the kids are all over me. They just miss me, but I get distracted and don't always clear up everything.

He is on the computer all day. Sometimes he cleans up, most days not. He has been cooking more lately. I call him to talk about dinner in case he gets distracted and forgets to start something. The kids are healthy and happy though, so I try not to get too bent out of shape about it.

Sometimes my house is clean, sometimes not. I do some cleaning, but I will be damned if I am going to do it all. As a result, our house isn't the cleanest. It's not filthy, but it isn't exactly clean.

He has meds for the anxiety and depression, but I think they are the wrong ones, I am pushing him to go to a psychiatrist. I think it would help if he got different meds.

Thanks babe! :flowers:

Two is good! You're doing great Joy. :hiphip:

Just remember what the other ex-smokers say..............after a while you won't even think about it anymore. I know it's a long, hard road though. :huggy:

Just can't seem to stay focused. Contemplating if I can take off to go see my Dad over the long weekend ( just got my new passport) or wait. I'll be headed right back out for more travel when I get back.

Then DH took one of the cats to the vet and it was determined he has kidney cancer, explaining his recent weightloss. Trying to figure when to break it to the guys at school.

Where does your Dad live?

Sorry about the bad news. :huggy:

same here! and fortunately he does not complain when everything isn't picture perfectly in place at home. as long as he has a nice glass of wine and a loving happy family waiting for him when he arrives home, he is happy. i am thinking he should be in a decent mood today seeing as it is one day away from the weekend and he had sunshine and warmish weather all day long at work. oh and garlic shrimp for din din. one of his faves. which consistes of four pounds of shrimp doused in garlic and real butter. everyone one but the 11 yr old lil girl loves the shrimp. she gets cheesy baked potaotes. you would think we were all terribly tubby here, nope just me, pleasantly plump 5ft 8 and a bunch flabbily over the 150-160lb mark. i look better (much better at about 135lb)
