I've got a terrific brother, he's awesome & I'm not the only one who knows it. He's also far too modest, had to pry out of him about his latest award. I wouldn't have even known about it except a friend who called me & squealed. :lol:

Well, she's never had a boyfriend-boyfriend over before, but she has had boys-who-are-friends over in her room in a group. Today I did let them go in her room, but the door had to be open. We just painted/redecorated her bedroom this week & she wanted to show him. They were only here for about 20 minutes.

Typically we do not let the girls have boyfriends in their bedrooms. If he comes over again, they can hang out in the living room. Since I'm cleaning today, it was a little chaotic. :p Plus, no one else was here, so none of the other ones need to know he was in there. ;) DH would have a FIT.


And, in other news, the "slit throat" in town yesterday WAS a suicide! :faint: Who does that? Poor guy, I wish people understood that it *does* get better. :pout:

well I was doing the usual............watching tv...........kids in bed...............then I fell asleep for a couple..............then DH came home (was out with a friend at bars)......so I was up with him around 3:30 am and chatted for a while........................then I was wide awake. Then DS9 woke up a while later.............so here I am...............never left the couch. :surrender:

Thanks, KG! I made several different Easter cookies that I really like and can't decide which one to use as an avatar :lol:

DH & I are going to the Kane County Flea Market/ Antique thing with my bf & her dh today. We've never been. (He's not nearly as excited as I am! :giggles:) I have my list of things I'm on the lookout for from Pinterest.
