so what are you thinking right now?

mother's day is going to be tough this year. we always always always did something with mom and grandma (typically went to see the Cubs if they were in town or in Milwaukee). My mom has mentioned she has never spent a Mother's Day away from her mom. I asked her if DH and I could help her in her garden that day (she has mentioned she needs help); she refused. I asked her if we could take her out to one of her favorite restaurants; she said it was too expensive. I'm going to push the restaurant and if that fails, then try a third option, but after that I dunno. I kind of feel like nothing will be good enough that day.

Maybe not, but just understand it's part of her mourning................not on you. Next year will be a lil better, the next year a lil more...................

Had Renzo's famous pizza turnovers here in Kenosha. I'm half a bottle of Captain in and only feeling it a lil................I filled up on carbs....sigh. I'm watching Sweet Home Alabama.

Wishing it was not cloudy, rainy and crappy out. I drove down by the lakefront in hopes to see the "supermoon"... it does NOT look promising. I know I am early, but still, highly doubtful the skies will clear to see it.
 
SOA ran couple reruns on FX and the DVr caught it ;)
Dh made homemade BBQ chicken pizza so that too

He is very good to me that way. He got SO mad at me Friday night, I said I needed a wife (I can't recall how that came up :drink: ) but he was like "Oh I see, cuz you don't have someone who makes sure you have a nice meal waiting for you all the time, makes you your favorite snack on Fridays (wine, cheese and sliced pears). Probably the wrong night for me to have said that since that was the same night he brought me home 5 year aged cheddar from Mariano's ($10 a lb.!!!!!) I was like OOPS! :hides:
 
I need a partay to cheer me up lately...tired of fighting w/DH about his ****ed up family....trying to let it go and be a bigger person but just having issues lately over a lot of ****...just hate to see him being a doormat but he wants to be one so I guess whatever...then he lashes out at me about my family and that makes things worse cuz then they get upset...oh well...we do what we can I guess....just tired of it all lately.
