What's new

so what are you thinking right now?

Do people actually not know????
My parents warned me as far back as I can remember NEVER PUT YOUR FACE IN A DOG'S FACE. Does not matter what kind of dog, DON'T EVER DO IT!

I cannot even read the story because I do feel bad for the woman, but I just cannot believe the picture of her holding the dog's face so close to her own.
Just like running with scissors. just saying

Agreed!!! I was actually gonna start a thread about this. I canNOT believe they cited the man for not having a leash on the dog! They invited them on the show, he's not walking down a street and he was holding the dog's collar. I wanna start a petition to drop the charges!!!

Sorry that woman is beyond stupid!!!:ranting:

meow I'm the same way with my DS9. Other kids on our block the same age are allowed to roam around the neighborhood. My DS isn't allowed to leave our yard and has to stay where I can see him out the window. He's fine with it, but the other kids think I'm weird lol.

Thank God that little girl got away!

Ds has a kid from his class who lives down the street. This kid (2nd grade) and his brother (kindy) are always out running around by themselves. They come knock on my door all the time. Sometimes I'll let the kids go play with them, but I always go out too. There have been times when we've been out there for like 2 hours and the mom doesn't even check on them that whole time. I've seen them riding their bikes in the street quite a few times too. Not a busy street, but still. Drives me nuts.

Almost embarrassed to admit that I just ate my first kiwi, ever....seriously, I suck...this thing was delicious...why I have avoided fruits and veggies my entire life???

Yep riding in the street WITHOUT helmets is what those kids do too. Both my boys wear helmets. The 12 yo is allowed in the street..........I'm teaching him proper cycling rules of the road.

Seriously?! :hah:

Did you see the frozen kiwi pops on pinterest? I'm gonna make these for my DS who loves kiwi.

I completely agree. If neighbor girls come to play with with my DD it is in the house or DH and I are out there with them.

I get so upset when I see parents walking feet ahead of small children - toddlers especially. Makes me sick to think what can happen in the blink of an eye.

And this is why I rarely leave the house with 3 little ones. I fear that I will get distracted and something bad will happen in the blink of an eye. Too big a risk for me so we hang at home all day and if I need to shop, it's at night when DH is home.

I just heard on the radio that they're talking about putting the dog down!!! :ranting::pout::ranting:

Did you watch the video of the bite? Dumb **** was right in his face, he showed his teeth and she didn't back up. The bite didn't look that bad btw. One thing that did strike me as odd is that both the owner and the officer just sat that after that. They didn't look shocked. I would've jumped up in disbelief and went to the woman.

ow! i just watched it, i can only imagine that the men were nervous and not responding to the woman in the proper mindset. she did not scream, she was sounding rather calm to be hurt, she probably was trying to put on a "good face" on camera. the other anchor sure did seem a bit rattled, but carried on. i can see my impetuous self being that poor lady. the dog was seeming so friendly. too bad :(

Anyone have a link to the bite video? They've been issuing take down orders and I haven't been able to find a live link to it.

Well you put an animal that just went through trama on a busy, lighted tv set and there's no way to tell how they'll react. She had no business doing that and frankly if I was the owner I would have pulled him back when she went to put her face in his. I do that when kids get all up in Sadie's grill and tell them that you should never get in a strange dog's face. Sadie has leaped towards some people (not in a nice way) when walking her (she doesn't like peeps wearing hoodies lol).

When we first got Sadie, she growled at DS a couple times. She was laying under the table and he crawled under there and got in her face. I had to teach him not to.

Hey Macaulay Culkin.................lay off the crack pipe.
