Good rest. Haha. I have small children, there is no such thing. Last night I was going to go upstairs and lay down but Dorothy got upset. Working mom guilt that is exacerbated by the fact that my DH told me on Wed that she fell asleep watching out the window for me to come home. I was late that night finishing up my deli meat extravaganza. So I stayed downstairs to hang out with her for a little while. It was torture, but she was happy and if I hadn't I wouldn't have been able to rest with her yelling for me.
 
Two things:

1. Why won't DS12 stop eating?!!! He drives me crazy. He wants to eat non stop. I let him stay home today because he was really tired from coughing so much all night. Well now he's fine(ish) and hasn't stopped eating for hours. I just had to fight with him that he CAN NOT have buttered pasta! :gah:

2. Would it be bad if we didn't go to DS9's b-ball game tonight? It's at 6:15 about 1/2 hr. away. DH won't be home from work in time, I have horrible night vision esp. if it's snowing and I would be on the interstate during rush hour. DS is a horrible player (he knows it) and usually only gets in for like 2 min. We have a tournament all weekend and this is just one game. :9:

Thanks. Yeah it's been coming down non stop. Thing is the whole team is near the lake and the rest will prolly go. I'll see how DS feels about it. Sometimes he's geared up to go and sometimes he doesn't want to. DH is mad that they keep having games on Fri that he can't make instead of the weekend.
 
Two of my dogs just got out of the backyard - both gates still closed. I kept calling them and calling them. A couple of minutes later they come walking down the sidewalk like no big deal lol. They're in time out, just like little kids wandering off!

How did they get out? Glad they came back.

I'd stay home. I'm like you, poor night vision and I hate driving at night.
 
I love my DH!!!!!!!

Just got my Valentine's day present delivered early....stargazer lillies and chocolate dipped strawberries....my favorites!

Yep staying home. I told his coach after school that we're not going. She looked at me TOTALLY shocked and said "WHY?!". Um............do you see the weather out there? :dunce: So she says "Do you want me to pick him up?" That's nice of her to offer and all, but seriously...........if I don't trust myself to drive my kids in this ****, I sho as hell won't trust anyone else! :duh:
 
Update on my cat Weebols...he went to heaven about 10:30 this morning. We knew when we took him and his brother (Wobbles) they had health issues but it still makes me sad.


And bugs me that we spent $ on his xrays and meds on Wed. and he's gone.
 
Thinking I might be in the lead for the contest on facebook that I posted about in off topic. But this other girl is creeping up on me. Darn it.
