so what are you thinking right now?

Where do you live? Meijer has a sizable list of free antibiotics. When DD needed them for her burns the computer link was down between Wags & the state. They wanted almost $50 oop and we could come back later when the link was up & get our $ back (yeah right). Took it right over to Meijer where they happily filled it for free. Pharmacist was an absolute doll, talked at length to DD about the antibiotics, side effects, wound care the whole thing. Do you have a Meijer near you?

on another note, the hospital referred my family to a sliding scale fee clinic in town for our follow ups, we went today. What a bunch of jerks! Not a nice person among them. The doctors were jerks, told us we must be doing something wrong if we are not well yet. She scolded us and said obviously we didn't read the directions or couldn't be bothered to take the medicine. Made us feel horrible for being unemployed. From beginning to end it was terrible. The doctor made a reference to us not being able to afford the right antibiotic, she said we would have to settle for a cheaper antibiotic. We applied for the medical card but until we hear back we are supposed to deal with these people...our PCP doesn't take Medicaid and our kids pediatrician doesn't either, gotta find someone who will.

That is just WRONG!!!! so sorry they treated you like that!!!!
 
So I have been asking Pat since Sunday what he wants for supper Valentines Day.

Its not a complicated request. Just tell me what you want.

I asked him again tonight and he blew up at me, stating that its unfair that he has to make the decision for what we all eat.

I said Pat, we cant afford gifts for each other, I just want to make you happy.

He said that ideas would help and hung up on me.

Now, the rational side of me says he is being like this because he is mad he cant do anything for me or Jonny for Valentines day.

But the rest of me is like...You are pissed at me over wanting to cook you whatever you want for supper because....?

Yay! My best friend is on her way to the hospital to deliver her first baby! So excited!
 
My DS12 who can often be difficult has been incredible tonight. His lil bros. tv died last night. Tonight he surprised his brother by puttin his tv in his bros room and hooking it up while his bro was in the basement.

THEN he's now sitting down and writing out his brother's Valentine cards and taping the candy to them because his brother has a paper cut and writing hurts.

I'm so proud of him!

Just when you think it can't get no worse whammm, they surprise you with all that stuff you taught them to do the right thing ..... way to go mrsmom's DS :)
 
My youngest goes through his book bag this morning and gives me a valentines card he made. He is 11, pushing 12 and I KNOW this is probably one of the last hand made cards I will receive.

Oh, I needed to add, my oldest.... he hit me up for money so he can send a girl a valentine candy through the school.

My 7 yr old and I were talking about who he would like to send candy to through the school. He mentions all his friends that I hear about, then he says and Haley. So I asked him if he liked Haley and he got angry because he was embarassed. It was really funny. He is growing up so fast.
 
Yep.... livin it clars. if I ask about anyone, I get the eye roll, the adjustment of their postition, the hands on the face like OMG can't we talk about ANY thing else?!?! This behavior from a simple question of so, ya like anyone? Simple question... makes em squirm EVERY.SINGLE.TIME! I should also add, I don't ask often.
