IF I had known that KG I would have invited you to my house last wk. For my bday I had bought myself a carrot cake...get it home and both DH and DD were like "GROSS" we're not eating that...I had to eat a piece every day until it was gone...I finally threw the last piece out yesterday. I am carrot caked out for a while!

My lil sister can sew..............when she was young, she made her own patterns for her Barbies and sewed them. I don't have the creative gene.

Oh man! I need a close by friend like you! DH always has minor issues with clothes, but I don't know what to do so we pitch them. :surrender:
I also sew, I learned in home ec! Also made my prom dresses! I LOVED that back in the day they taught us how to make our own patterns and enlarge patterns, etc.
Back at the start of Ebay, I made formal dresses in, er, "Queen" size and sold them like crazy! After a couple of years all the Queens went someplace else, I never did find out where! Miami Beach?
