I'm home! She went to Dollar Tree first...still don't know where he went but we had a nice time! A little drinky a little food...it was fun!

Seriously? That sucks. Even in my little town, they deliver.

I was thinking of picking up take out tonight but was good and nuked a chimichanga & had it with some tortilla chips and salsa.
 
Chinese sounds so good. I totally have a taste for it lately. We had beef sandwiches...well *I* did, DH is still at work. :gah: IDK about the Papa Charlie's beef from Aldi. The container says 5 servings. I had a *tiny bit* on my sandwich & DH is going to be ravenous after eating what little is left.
 
Been shopping for a used car and it sucks...hate being broke

And since DH works with car he had tons of opinions on every single one I want to look at.

So me and mistah don't usually give each other anniversary gifts. We exchange cards and go out to eat. WELL today DH came home with one hell of a gift! He bought me a new laptop!!! (mine was an old **** pos). So I'm on her now...........trying to get used to it..............way different keyboard. Windows 8...........all different stuffs to me.


I told him he shouldn't have done that and that I don't deserve it and he said of course you do! He's too good to me. :)

So we made it here after an almost five hour mechanical delay. Then we get to lga and On to the rental car bus and before we go 50ft a cabbie rear ends us!!!! I thought dh was gonna go mad!!!!!

On the flip side, because of the delay southwest gave everyone a $200 voucher! Times 4 of us! :woot:

My mother is in the hospital since Sunday night. She had her appendix out last Monday. She was fine for 5 days. Then developed this sleepy colon disorder. She has been unable to eat/drink since, and hooked up to an IV. We are waiting for her colon to wake up. I am getting tired of waiting. Today she said she finally passed gas so that is a good sign that her colon is starting to work. I feel so bad for her. And I wish the hospital wasn't an hour away :(

Well turns out she had a hernia from the original operation. They determined this after the doctor reviewed last nights xrays this morning and went right into surgery. So she had surgery again. I am hoping she will get better soon. It was a long day. She still has to spend 3-5 days in the hospital. This all started on the 14th when she went to the ER... 12 days later she is still sick. I starting to have no faith in doctors!
 
Slept for about 2 hours then DH (and the dog) came to bed and been awake since.

Grateful I don't have to work tomorrow...should find time to take a nap.

Times like this make me miss Nohio :hides:
