There is no 3-day rescission on used cars. Only if the dealer offers returns.

Cars sold as-is are as-is.

Lauri have your DH take it to Autozone and check the battery & alternator. They will let him use the testing meters for free. Then you will know what to say/ask/demand when the dealer opens up tomorrow.
 
PS - my 17yo (has had 3 yrs of auto shop) says if it starts without a jump it is probably either the battery or a loose/corroded wire somewhere. If it runs rough before it dies then maybe a fuel filter. If alternator it usually will need a jump to start then will die somewhere along the way or will not start again if it is turned off without another jump.

That's his input anyway.
 
DH (has worked in/managed body shops for 20 years) thinks it might be a fuel pump or filter. Car is high on miles.

Joy of small town living...been in contact with someone who works at dealer and taking it in tomorrow after work.

Keeping fingers crossed it's nothing big or we can return.
 
Just got back from brunch with friends.

Have to say I think one of life's great pleasures is good coffee in a real cup with real cream refilled by attentive waitstaff...
 
I am wondering what the chances my 2 papers today are still going to be out on the drive when DH gets home ... or if I need him to grab a couple more.
 
I wish I was in the country I'd shoot the SOB's :) Unfortunately we're incorporated in West Dundee. No shooting...well not entirely true...his cousin who lived next door to us at our old house was known to eliminate a couple of problem wild animals by using a silencer :quiet:

They are definitely a pack both across the foot bridge on bunnee's side and they assemble in the park on my corner. :surrender:

Today will teach me to **** about a couple of coyotes. The 1/2 a foot of sewer water that infiltrated my basement this morning has them beat :surrender: It's a long day already!
