I'm hiding in my room now because I really want to throttle mistah but I can't because DS10 is here.
 
I feel like I am letting my family down because I cannot take care of them. I can tell dh is getting frustrated doing most of my work and then he has to still do his work. Cannot wait until I am back to normal again. :surrender:
 
You shouldn't feel that way, anna :huggy: (easier said than done, I'm sure) ...
but you can't take care of anyone until you take care of yourself first ♥♥♥.
 
I hate being in the wrong and not knowing exactly how to make it right so playing ostrich and hoping a solution will present itself to me.

Ha ha, the funny thing is the backpack is for my 3 yr old and she would love a DORA backpack. I have 1 more place to look and then I give up. The good news, in searching for all these things I have found a bunch of other stuff that was missing.....haha
 
I'm so hurt and upset right now that I am in tears but I can't talk about it right now. I'd like to think that if I sleep on it I'll feel better in the morning but somehow I don't think so. :-(
 
Cross country team dinner was a success. Had about 25 people here. Plenty of food and drinks. Kids all had a great time. Got to meet some of their parents. They are a good group of kids and I wish them all the best of luck at the State race on Saturday. DS will be attending but not running.

Started my day with some cookie decorating, which was fun. Planned on tying up loose ends for Halloween costumes and such and having nothing else major to do. Instead around 1pm I got a text from DS15 that both HS boys and girls cross country teams qualified for state today. "Can we have both teams and their families over for a celebratory cookout tomorrow?". We agree and start moving in fast forward. Entire house got cleaned. Garage got clean. Yard picked up and mowed. Food bought. How much food do you buy when you have no idea how many people might be coming? Could be 10, maybe 20, or 50? Oh well, I'm sure we will have a great time tomorrow and it's always fun to see my non-spontaneous self handle something like this.

YEP! I looked in the last place I thought it would be and no dice. Here is the total irony...I posted the **** deal on the stupid things when I found them at Target and now I don't have them.:surrender:

Feel really bad too b/c it is my daughter's 1st day of pre-school tomorrow and now she has to take her brother's hand-me-down boy looking one to school. One of the bags I can't find was pretty pink and girly.

We also can't find the baby bathtub. Must have thrown that and the backpacks out with the bath water...:surrender:
 
What a day. Plumber was here for hours. Lots of tree roots down there. The stacks have trees etc. in them. They are packed apparently so that is not good. They need to put a thing in there and do what they called "jetting" it spins and chops up everything to clear the stack. It "starts" at $895 per stack and the landlord doesn't want to pay for it :surrender:

It's all running through again but they are going to come back tomorrow with the camera and put it down there to see just how bad it is and tell them but I still don't expect that they are going to do it.
