What's new

someone please. just shoot me in the ****ing head.

My boss yelled at me over the summer because I changed the radio station in the van from Jack-FM to "Q".

i'd deffend cops, but as i understand the training course over there is a little over 6 weeks and they don't have much of an intelligence test.
also i think you guys also have some weird law where cops are bound by law to handcuff every single person they arrest. here the only reason they are allowed to handcuff by law is if they are likely to harm others or themselves or if they are likely to try and escape.

most cops can't tell the difference, hence everyone gets cuffed.

No, I think it's about to go off on a tangent about all the problems of the world being Mark's fault. Because he's a lawyer, not because he's Jewish............

I think the laws very from your city, county sheriff's,state police and from state to state of course. One time I was in a car that ran out of gas and a local city cop gave me a ride to and back from a gas station, but another time a state cop told me he couldn't, it was against the law.

Where I live the city cops are alright, they don't pull ya over often. Unless it's dark out and your a minority. Then theres a very high chance they are going to **** with you. I worked nights years ago and the manager was black. Probably atleast 2 nights a week he wouldn't get a mile down the road and he would get pulled over and get asked if he was lost

State cops are ****heads but the worst is county police around here, they are some real **** suckers.

So has diddy changed her mind about waiting to get shot in the head yet?

correction:

EVERYONE's who has enough money to pay our exorbitant hourly fees rights

If you don't feel like the quality of those lawyers who are apointed rather than those who are private are up to snuff, I suggest you write your state representatives and tell them to raise the salaries of public defenders so as to attract a higher quality attorney.

In this country, we often get what we pay for -- and since states pay **** -- they get ****.

well, of course, i shouldn't be surprised at your defense, sence i was being offensive! :p

but seriously...PDs and private lawyers all go to law school. operating in the same legal system. have access to the same law books and case law. arguing before the same judges.

when i was accepted to Yale, it was my intention to complete my JD, and work as a PD or ADA for 5 years, at which time Yale would "forgive my debt", effectively giving me a Yale law degree for free.

would that have made me "stupid"? and then, when my 5 years of endentured servitude was over, and I got a "real" job at a law firm, would the clouds immediately part, and my knowledge of the law miraculously return, brought on by the increase in my net worth?

i know that seems kinda sarcastic...but i mean it.

no -- but doesn't that contradict what you just wrote about private attorneys vs. public attorneys?
