Ya, that's how I felt when I went with Liquidweb years ago for a dedicated server provider. I wish I could go back to them, but there's no point in paying a dedicated server when you're not using up all your resources on a VPS.

I have the kiddo tonight, we're having his birthday party this weekend. :)

Went to sleep early and watched Desperate housewives with the lady on Hulu Plus.
Tonight on the other hand, not sure what's going on because there's a party going on and my boys and I will probably be hitting it up looking for answers[as I was jumped at another party about a week or two ago]

I doubt that my resource usage cannot be tweaked to go with a smaller VPS package but I don't have the skills and don't know anyone off hand who handles that. There's some people that claim optimization but seem like fly-by-night operators.

Happy Birthday to Leo! :) how old is he now?

I wound up having a few espresso vodkas and cokes then went to bed. Boring I know. :P Today I ripped my DVR out of my entertainment center. Net Talk finally ported the house number from Time Warner so Monday AM the DVR and VOIP modem is going back to TWC. That should knock about $50/mo off my bill. I may build my own DVR down the line but the truth is I spend more time deleting old shows for new recordings than actually watching what I record.

Tonight the DJ board is moving to the new VPS and I'm hanging out at a Buddy of mine's web show while doing that. After the move is done I'll probably have a few more vodka and cokes. :D
 
@Dan Hutter I understand. I wish I knew how to do it as well, but I forgot. Do you use Hulu Plus? I just installed it on the xbox 360 last night since some of our new tv episodes weren't available on Netflix,

@Brandon Happy birthday do your son.

I tried the trial a couple of years ago and some shows were avaialble on the computer but not on a set top box (Roku). That irked me and I never looked back.

Since I dropped the DVR I'm going to give it another run and see if it's changed.

What's everyone doing htis weekend? With teh beautiful weather we've been having I'll probably be outside a whole lot.
 
I'm going to help make funnel cakes for one of the schools in the morning, then off to my home town for a night of drinking and hanging out with old friends.

Not me. I drank 4 bottles of this Vodka crap last night, it tasted like coffee vodka lol. My mother in law got it for my girl and I drank it all because she said it was nasty. It didn't even get me tipsy lol. I guess I have a high tolerance or something because each bottle was 5% alcohol a piece.
