The Confabulation Thread - Part 2

@Monster how you doin buddy?

I'm fine! Sorry, forgot to close the browser tab! ;)

God, I've been thinking all day about a woodruff & vanilla popsicle I ate in the 1970ies, it was canceled in 1978 ... I'm not the only one missing it ;)

I love woodruff taste ... there's far too few products with it ... lol, I need to go to the grocery store get some stuff ;)

Done something to remedy my cravings: Woodruff Jello -- however, it's comparably bland, those used to taste more intensive, or is that just my taste buds, from all the cigarettes I smoked today? ;)

Ive been working on some dev projects... boooo. working out real well (not!)

and giving away stickers on my one site. Its like the only time people get involved there besides complaining about me or the site.

What do the stickers look like? That's an interesting marketing tactic.

Just getting back online from the weekend break, how's it going?
Everything is good here. How was the break?

My girl got a new job so she's happy and I'm happy for her. I went to wish her luck before her first night then I took about an hour drive (from her area) to help a friend with his computer that he said was a dire need. Turns out he jsut wanted me to help him Google something. I jokingly told him to go phuck himself (even though I was kinda pissed) but he's the kinda guy you cannot stay mad at. I installed Team Viewer so if he 'needs help' again, I can just login.

The weekend was good, I met up with this girl not too long ago and we’ve been hanging out on the weekends. She lives an hour away and works during the week, we’re both pretty beat by the time the weekends come, so lots of movies and just relaxing.

Nice, did she get a good job, lots of hours?

I’ve installed logmein on a few computers for that very reason..lol
Well we made it through Monday, time to get to work on the rest of the week.

Good for you man. :) My girl is almost an hour away too. It's cost me an arm and a leg in gas but I stay roaming.

She's doing the home health aide thing. Right now, she has the overnight shift right now and seems to like it. The good thing is she has internet there. Last night, I stayed with her until a half hour before she went home. It's funny she always busts my chops about being a night owl, now she wants me to be a night owl. :p

Yeah, I switch off between Team Viewer, LMI, and Cross Loop. TV & CL seems to be the most liked by the receiver because their password always changes and I cannot just login; it makes them feel more secure which is cool with me.

Congratulations, what is she doing for a job? My brother uses Team viewer all the time, not sure why though probably because he's a gamer.

Good morning, how are you? I'm trying to come out with some new threads to freshen this place up today.;)

I'm still working, it's late afternoon here, after hours is still some hours away! ;)

I'm having a weird problem with a program of mine, but I have to find a solution before the day is over (I should try at least ;) ).

I hate it when a C program crashes but works fine in the debugger. ;) (in this case probably a race condition or other timing problem)

It's still early morning here, its 8 50 am. Why did it crash though? What program?

I don't know why, or I would've fixed the bug already!

It's a program I'm working on for work ... can't say more about it, pot secret! ;)
Gotcha, I understand now. Doesn't that suck though? I used to hate debugging and coding errors when I was trying to learn php years ago.

I hate it too sometimes, but it's my job, no use for me in complaining! ;)

Especially when you have a large piece of software (written in C, of all things), finding a bug can be a real PITA. In the software I'm currently working on there's several subsystems that each have to play nicely with each other, and everything runs concurrently, which makes it even more complex.
