The Confabulation Thread - Part 2

I should go to the gym
I haven't been in a few days because of various reasons. I've been slacking as of late. And its not any fun because I want to get down to 240 pounds or so by the end of August/early September. If my car ac worked it wouldn't be much of an issue, and plus, we didn't have gas money for a few days last week, so that held us back.

I finally made a 'night' mode for my phone; where the text and email alerts are as quiet as possible but the ringer is annoying as hell; hopefully it will wake me up. After a year and half with this phone my choices were to leave it in silent or normal mode. Silent of course silences all alerts and normal has alerts for everything. I needed a way to sleep in realitive peace but still have a ringer for emergencies.

Other than that I haven't walked in a few days. It's hard trying to find the motivation to get out there especially in this humidty but hopefully tomorrow I'll get a solid six miles in.

I don't even get up from my alarm. My body wakes up on its on. I usually get 8 hours of sleep a day or more.

I never got up for my alarm either but got an old fashioned alarm clock that wakes me right up.

Before that I used my cell phone which only sometimes woke me up and of course forced me to keep it off silent mode.

I only keep it on at night because one my friends isn't in the best of health and if he needs something I'm right down the road from him.

The one night I turned off my phone last week another friend of mine's radiator hose blew in the middle of nowhere at 3am while she was out delevering papers. I felt like an a$$hole for turning off my phone that night.

Edit 6:30p: Fixed typos

I used to have an old school alarm like that. I don't know what happened to it though. I never turn my phone off unless I'm ignoring someone and flip the switch on the side of my iPhone that turns everything off - ringers I mean.

ps.. I'm watching this..

google fiber to the home

*edit*

It looks like their first service is going to be Google Fiber TV

Watching that now as well @Brandon Thanks! Google fiber = faster internet, right?

I guess it depends on how KC does, the more the want it, the faster it'll grow.
Ya, that **** seems to be fast as lightning. How long until KC fully has it? months?

They said something about wanting to get all the fiberhood submissions in by the end of September.
Not bad, that's good though. That would be a pretty profitable business for Google, don't you think?
