Vampire: Blood in the Water

Ok.... this got entirely to happy for a vampire game.:evil6: Lets darken things up shall we.

The group had woken from a hard days sleep on the plane. It took a while but they slowly bagan to notice somthing wrong. It was Liz who fist noticed, Odette, was gone. In an aircraft totaly closed off from the outside world, she had dissapeard. They searched the cargo hold, nothing. The doorway to the above decks was locked from the other side. She had to be there, there is no where she could have gone, but she was not there. And they where coming in for a landing.

OK!!!! Anais feel free to introduce your friend...... oh and to the rest of you, :eusa_ange have fun.....

OOC: What can I say, Sic? I looked up an airline flight from France to Seattle, and it said the plane stopped in Seoul. Eh, whatever. And yes, I'm rather certain that Liz & Dante are rather mad...or at least amusing.IC: "Feeding soon, Daithi." Anaïs murmured absently. Odette's disappearance was both a relief and a worry. No one, she was sure, could outscheme a Daeva, and two Daevas in close proximity could be a problem. There was little time to think though as the plane descended and they had to make their way out into the early evening air. It was warm, noisy, and crowded.

What a perfect feeding ground, and how alive it all felt. She thought she might let her companions feed first before introducing them to Slade. The dark night above only knew what might happen if they tried to feed from him. She knew where he was. Down in the bar at the nearby Wyndham hotel . Not that he was legal for that...just that he wasn't ever noticed. And it would be a wonderful place to feed if the boy didn't mind waiting just a little while.

With a quick use of Dominate, she got them past the airport workers and across the road to the hotel. It wasn't a bad place...certainly not up to the quality of the Ritz-Carlton, but lively enough.

OOC: Greetings all! Forgive me for a being a bit new to this forum. I like it so far! Anyways, down to the point... I'm playing the part of 'Shade'.

Name: 'Shade'
Mortal Name: 'Kodaven Terrenson.' Name was legally changed at 18 to better him.
True Name: -- :eusa_sile -- Sorry, that much won't be given away!

Age: Actual age is 23. But appears at first glance to be no more than 19 or 20.
Sorry Pixie, unlike Anais, he does still age...

Little is known about Shade from those outside his kind. As a youth, he was simply one of the kids who 'fell through the cracks' of the system. Diagnosed with ADD at the age of 12. Dropped out of High School, barely obtaining a GED. To those who know him best... he was bored with the mundanity of school... and that's all the reasoning needed. When he reached 18, he severed any and all ties to his entire family, leaving them in Salt Lake City without a word other than a note that said "You would have been the death of me!" He is a bit of a traveler, believing that if he stays in any particular city, things might get a little too stagnent for his tastes. Seattle happens to be where he is currently...

--Description: Shade is Caucasian, with rather pale skin. His dull-blue eyes tend to glance around nervously, as if he's trying to watch all things happening at once. His features are sharp and accented by his thin eyebrows. Other than that, he lacks any other facial hair (and always appears smooth-shaven). His hair is black and stringy, and hangs down to his shoulders in a hastily combed-back style. His build is quite slim, and he stands no higher than 5 foot 7 inches. He is always seen wearing exclusively black clothes... from old ratty sneakers, to loose fitting baggy jeans. His shirt is a plain black with no logos or slogans. And his jacket is worn-in black leather with zippers and pockets all over it. There is not a single brand name on any of his clothes (even the sneakers lack a brand name of any kind). No noticible piercings of any kind.

All 'spoken' text from Shade will be grey in color, to represent that he never speaks above a whisper.

IC: The bar was dimly lit, and under-populated... just the way Shade liked it. He had told Anaïs that this would be the spot he'd meet her at. And it reassured him that this bar was a good choice. The TV above the glass-lined counter was on the News, with the current stories being the typical Oil shipment crashes, murder in local neighborhood, and Tacoma riots being quelled. Shade sat disinterested in the darkest corner of the room at a table, sipping a Mexican import. No amount of liquid-courage was going to ease his mind. It was a select few vampires that Shade actually gave contact info to. It was fewer still the ones that he'd actually answer. Anaïs may have been an exception, but it wasn't like he enjoyed hanging around any blood-suckers... especially when they got hungry. And although he could take a little confidence in the fact that he'd give them the worst acid trip ever, it didn't calm his nerves... And he was starting to run low on money for more liquid-courage. "This is gonna be one of those nights..." He whispered.

OOC: No worries, Kor, Anaïs is a terrible judge of age anyway. Twenty...seventeen.. Whatever. And `bout time you got here. :P

IC: Anaïs walked into the bar as if she owned it. It was only proper. There were some people in the bar, the smell of their blood tickled her nostrils. And then there was Shade. She'd know the scent of his blood anywhere. It was fizzy and tingled like champagne once did. With a smile, she led her crew over to join him.

She had mentioned she'd had company, hadn't she? Ah well, it didn't much matter. A few of his beloved imports and he'd be willing enough to roll along with them. Especially if his appreciative glance at Liz was telling.

"Shade! So considerate to meet my friends and I. An introduction, of course, is in order as I do not believe you have met these ones. They are...so different from the last crowd I was running with" As she spoke their names, she indicated them with a hand. "Shade, this is Dante, Daithi, Wilhelm, and..Liz. I don't suppose we could get a bite to eat before we settle, could we? At a club or something? Being fresh from the continent, they have not seen much of American life."

occ: new character...fun ^.^ but anyways moving on...

ic: Liz took in her new surrondings, a dimly lit bar with onmly a few people in it. Anais started walking to a man, possibly in his early twenties. Liz couldn't be sure, he was one of those whose age was impossible to tell. She stayed at the back of the group and studied this new person as Anais talked to him.

He had long dark hair, stirking eyes, darting all over the palce as though he could look at everything at one, slightly tall, though as usual not as tall as Liz herself. He wore nothing but black, wearing trousers baggy similar to hers....odd. occ: lol am going off the outfit i usually wear here, whcih is black skater jeans :P. She continued to stare even as she was being introduced.

Interesting....she thought

occ: too hot to write anymore.

Dante walked with the rest as Anais led them into a dark, quiet bar. She introduced them all to this new Shade fellow. He had to strain to hear Shade, he seemed to be whispering even though there was surely nobody around to hear them. He had an ...odd look about him. His shifty eyes darted over all of them in turn and then surveyed the room again, his dark clothes brought out the pale in his skin. Anais asked something in english, Dante thought he caught the jist of it. "(Fr) Why would we want to eat a club?"

Anaïs was hard-put not to giggle at Dante's question...and the mental image of eating a wooden club. She responded quietly to his question so as not to attract attention.

(fr) "Not a club to beat someone with...it's...um...a large party. You have to pay to enter and for alcoholic drinks `cause there's no host, but there tends to be a LOT of people to feed off of dancing or just standing around."

Daithi was happy to be off the metal contraption, even though Odette's sudden disappearance troubled him. Anais led them to a tavern close to the port. Daithi could recognize a tavern no matter what century it was, though he did note the very different atmosphere from the bars he frequented in Europe.

Over at a table by himself was a small pale fellow, who Anais introduced as Shade. Daithi was much more interested in looking around the tavern to try to get a feel for what Americans were like, but Anais' mention of food sparked his interest. Dante suddenly questioned something in french which Anais responded to, and although Daithi had difficulty understanding them, he was certain he knew what the problem was and spoke up,

"(en) Certainly there is no need to club them!" Daithi said in his usual thick accent, "we're quite capable of subdueing them ourselves!"

That did it. Anaïs began to chuckle aloud.

(en) "Daithi...ever the comedian..." When she'd regained her composure, she went on. "Apologies....It's a party. Not...oh dear...." And she began to laugh again. "Sorry....I forget sometimes...Club....wood....wooosh" she managed between her laughter.

(Anais, a thought runs through your head, you might not want to risk feeding without permission from the prince. A good socialite vampire like yourself you know not to break that little rule)

Now that she took a better look Liz could see another side to this 'shade'

The way he looked seemed to disturb her...was he to be trusted? His jacket turning into a long coat, with two swords inside of it. His eyes had turned fully black and his hair was more oily. His skin more white, even more so than it was on his 'other' side.

She quickly looked away, not paying attention to the words being said by the others. Sharply she looked back, seeing a small fury animal beside him, with seven legs....what on earth was that!?!?!

She looked him in the eyes, she wasn't afraid of him...but she wasn't about to trust him, he didn't look at her. But she wondered what on earth he was and what he was doing in connection to Anais.

OOC: I was getting to it...Eventually.... Can you use your GMing skillz for a second, Sicander? Just to have Shade get us to the location of the Prince...

IC:Anaïs reluctantly looked over her charges. They weren't the cleanest, after traveling in the cargo hold of a plane for a few hours, but she supposed that she really should present them all in Elysium first before things went even more sideways and they fed inadvertantly, putting a death order on all of them.

Thankfully, she had at least researched where the local Prince hung out when she'd first thought of coming here and should be able to find it with a minimum of difficulty. If the talk about him was right, he might even let them ease their hunger a little before sending them on their way.

"Shade, my friend, I hate to leave so quickly, but there's someone we should talk to before we go party. A true prince of a man, you understand. Don't suppose you could take us over to Seattle proper, could you? I don't expect you to stay, but we'll happily meet you later..."

Softly in French, she explained to the others, "We should announce our arrival before we feed...it is...customary here."

Heh, actually, Pyxi, shade knows exactly who your are talking about and where your going..... hehehehe. You wont find the Prince at Elysium. This time of night he is working. Shade has a ride, Im sure he will take you. He knows where the Prince works. Anyone who drinks Coffee knows Price Hawthorn. (Starbucks on 5th Ave)

After about twenty minuets of driving they reached fifth ave. It was a one way street marked with swank hotels and the legendary 5th ave theater. (Yah he still lives there:thumbsup: and his little dancing friend too most likely.)

They approched the coffee shop. An unassuming man stood behind the counter cleaning a mug. "Heh, Shade, how yah doing, the usual? And who are these folks, you make some new friends?" He started a drink "My names Hawthorne." Adressing the vampires. "I run this little section of Paradise. I assume your here to ask for permission? Well, I give it to anyone, we are real casual here as you can see, just dont abuse it. If you know whats good for you youll stay out of the commercial district of Bellevue, Tacoma is safe now but still a little backwater. Oh, and if you need a quick bite, head to Pikes Place Market, good feeding down there, if you catch my drift." He handed Shade his drink. "Oh and one more thing. Watch out for a Black Beemer pumping hiphop at intolerable volumes, if you value your unlife youll hide real quick."

Will that the prince went back to cleaning glasses.

(Nice guy really, totaly different from the last prince you met huh?)

Oh and if you havent heard of the 5th ave theater, the place is great, its moddled after an old japanees theater. Oh and it romoured to he haunted :eusa_ange

"Merci beaucoup." Anaïs responded automatically to Hawthorne with a grateful bow. She knew Americans were casual, but hadn't expected this from the area royalty. Ah well. Now on to other, more important matters.

To the others, she simply asked, "Shall we?"
