What are your favorite sports movies?

I love the movie called the Peaceful Warrior. It's about a young gymnast who has an accident and later finds inner peace then has a wonderful life. Good movie. :)
 
Dodgeball was good too. It had a neat plot, but was pretty funny too. :D
The wrench scene was priceless.

I like the Fields of Dreams, it is considered a classic to many people I know but the book was better. This movie made me cry. I cry at the same time Kevin Costner does when he finds out the catcher is his father.
The Rookie with Dennis Quaid is pretty great too. So those two are my favorites, and The Sandlot gets honorable mention just for making me laugh. LOL
 
The Sandlot is a classic! Since you were mentioning baseball films, I was actually really hoping you would mention the sandlot. Good choice, my friend! That film is a piece of Americana.
 
I'd say Cinderella Man I know it's not really a sports film but eh it's a good movie ;d And The Wrestler but only because of the secene where mickey rourke buys roids from some huge guy that later gets busted irl for selling gear lol...

I'm watching Moneyball at the moment, and all I can think is I'd like this movie a lot more if it were about football instead of baseball. The movie isn't bad, it's actually pretty interesting, but I feel like it's lacking something. I keep wanting it to go somewhere but it's just kind of trodding along. Anyway a bit off topic but somewhat relevant too. Hopefully it is nobody's favorite on here, haha.

Yeah it's a decent film, not sure about the critical acclaim that it's getting though as it's a bit overrated in my opinion.
 
Greatest sports movie? Space Jam.
Haha but in all seriousness Remember the Titans has got to be one of not only the greatest sports movies but movies in general.
