Good news everyone! The teacher retested DD and says that she now belongs in a different group...she will begin in the new group the wk. after next since next wk. there will be no spelling as we only go to school for 2 days. Here's hoping the new group has some more challenging words!:dance:

We need to separate the words with our, words that have abbreviations, one syllable words and 2 syllable words
We need to write sentences using the spelling words
We need to solve the riddles with spelling words
Have your child find the different meanings of the words course and court. Ask the them to use each meaning in a sentence.
We then have to read a recipe and answer questions involved to that recipe
Math was very easy--given a problem that we had to write if we added or subtracted--and had to figure out what fit into each problem
Then we had story problems
