What was the worst Christmas or Hanukkah gift that you have ever received? I would have to say, without a doubt, the worst Christmas present I ever received was a Hemorrhoid doughnut! Of all the things to put in a stocking!

Worst Holiday Gift....

A doughnut, huh? Was someone trying to tell you something?:smiley_aa I think the worst Christmas gift I've ever gotten was a plastic wallet that had been regifted so many times there were still tags in it from past years! It wouldn't have been so bad if someone had left money in it! Actually I thought it so funny (you have to consider the source of such a thing...) that I still have it just to show people!

I don't think I have ever re-gifted. I guess there is nothing wrong with it, as long as the item is still new. Maybe I should have re-gifted my doughnut! :laughing1

Worst Gift

Re-gifting isn't SUCH a bad thing - you have to be discreet about it, though. Imagine giving someone a gift that they had given you previously!! That would be too funny!:p

worst gift...hmmm a little eeyore teddy from maccies that my mate still tries to convince me that she bought it herself but then again she has a tendency to lie....

The worst gift I received was nothing.
Wow, RoqueSpear, that's sad. I had one Christmas where I received nothing as well. Not a very happy time when that occurs. So I guess any gift after that is appreciated; rather the fact that someone cares enough to give you something is appreciated even more.

My worst Christmas gift was from an elderly great aunt. She always gave everyone writing paper. How many 9 year olds want writing paper and envelops? I always gave it away. I received it two years in a row and was disappointed both times. My sister loved it as she was into drawing. So she basically received both gifts - hers and mine.

I can't recall a bad Christmas gift, really. I can think of a few that I had to wonder what people were thinking, but nothing really bad...

i would have to say my worst gift was given to last year by my ex, when talking about gifts i had mentioned that i liked silver and not glod jewlery well he told me that i wouldnt be getting any of that for christmas well christmas came and i did get silver.... silverware

LOL Re-gift or whatever it is called! Give it to someone else as a gift.

What better present for someone who loves to cook! He must have expected you to prepare his meals daily! LOL What a cad!

i dunno what he thought i had mentioned that i would like one but i had also mentioned that i would really like a locket
personally if i was a guy trying to impress a girl i would have went for a locket but that male brain doenst work the same way as a females i guess

maybe he was being practical. A crock pot is a win=win situation. You get the Crockpot you said you would like and he would get a full belly when you cooked in it. A locker, meh, what benefit was there for him.
Don't get me wrong. I would have bought both and had the locket monogrammed. I would have also bought a nice roast to test the Crockpot! LOL
