When the foil wrapping gets stuck on boullion cubes & you have to run water over them to get it off, losing about 1/4 of the cube...

Keep them in the freezer.

When I take time off work and get crap about it from coworkers ms:

Consider yourselves lucky that I went in for 2 hours this morning...or your butt could have been there at 6 am moving furniture because they cleaned carpets this weekend.

Don't get me wrong- love the kids but some coworkers need to learn to work!
