I wish Diane would let me in to the cw fb page. :pout:
there's a CW FB page??

oh and Joy...

nevermind lol! I was going to post another disgusting huge bug picture but then I thought you'd hate me then!

Just found out my sister and BIL are going to get divorced. My sister had a "text" affair two years ago, lasted two weeks. Texted him again on Friday, BIL threw her out of the house. I'm shocked, dumbfounded and speechless. They have three kids (15, 12, 10). Pray for them, please.
So sorry, is counseling not an option?

Not sure. There marriage has not been peaches and cream but I totally didn't expect this.

We (my other sisters & parents) are going up to talk with my BIL tonight, per his request.

Oh no! Who is your sister texting? Is it someone she knows IRL or just via phone/ computer?

Amazes me that people will throw their lives away like this...

This is also how DHs first marriage ended (her affair, not his). He would have stayed with her, but she wouldn't stay away from the guy. They are married to each other now.

It is icky, especially to us who can't imagine.

I can already see that it is the beginning of a horrible downward spiral but she can't at all.

It's too bad. To watch our family do awful selfish things. Sorry Valerie :(

I can say that if you can try to support your BIL (depending on circumstances, etc) he could probably really use the emotional support. My DH was totally vilified by his ex's family at the time (they knew what she did but took LOUD MEAN sides about the whole thing). They came slinking to us, years later, when she (the ex) decided she was done with them (her family) too. She doesn't speak to any of them, hasn't for years.

I guess once you get past that "selfish barrier" of being able to leave your kids for a guy, then casting off your family is not too much of a stretch.

I will think good thoughts Val. For the best outcome for everyone.

Someone they both know and he's married too. I want to barf.

Does his wife know? Why do so many peeps think the grass is greener?!!!

Don't know. Don't really care either.

I'm convinced that 95percent of problems in people's lives are because they are lazy and don't want to work for anything. Pick any topic and that's usually what it boils down to.

You want an awesome marriage....work your **** off for it.
You want a good job....work your **** off for it.
You want to get healthy/look good/lose weight.....work your **** off for it.
You want your kids to be respectful/honest/etc......work your **** off for it.
You want to save money.....work your **** off for it.

People just want this stuff to happen without an ounce of effort put into it. Such a broken world we live in.

“We, the people, declare today that the most evident of truths – that all of us are created equal – is the star that guides us still; just as it guided our forebears through Seneca Falls, and Selma, and Stonewall; just as it guided all those men and women, sung and unsung, who left footprints along this great Mall, to hear a preacher say that we cannot walk alone; to hear a [Martin Luther] King proclaim that our individual freedom is inextricably bound to the freedom of every soul on Earth.

“ Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law – for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well."

I need to lose weight, look good, get healthy and get my kids to be respectful. :surrender:

I blame cookiemom for me not getting a **** thing done today. She introduced me to Words With Friends on fb. :surrender:

No, No, No. I'm talking about people that except these changes just to happen. Not accepting the fact that "they" are part of the problem and the road to the solution instead of placing the blame on everything or everyone else.
