No Christmas carols. I keep the house chilly. He spends most of the day in the basement playing video games and it's even chillier down there. SO he wanted to go down there with a nice big mug of hot cocoa. :)
 
I am either smart or clinically insane. Maybe both?? Lemme explain...

I am shooting a friend's wedding on August 18. This has been planned for over a year, and I am super stoked!! It's getting so close and I am READY! Plus Pat will be there and I can't wait to slow dance with him :)

So tonight I log into FB and there is a message from a girl I hung out with a long, long time ago, asking me if I still take pics...and if I do, to send pricing. I did, and she asks if I am available the 19th :O I explain to her that I do have that day off work, but I am shooting a wedding the day before, so her family photos would take longer to edit and she would have to wait longer to get her CD. She is fine with it, said the wedding was booked way before her, it's fine. So, we set the appointment!

I am super excited, as the session fee for the family, along with the fee for the wedding, puts me SUPER CLOSE to the camera I want. I will only be about 50-60 bucks away from it, and that makes me SO SO SO excited. I have been using the same camera since 2008 and it takes awesome pics but I am ready to have something new and more "up to date" so to speak. I am really, really excited about the whole thing! WOOT!

But I am also out of my mind LOL. But in a good way.
 
So cookiemom and Kathy4116, how did wags go? Or did either one of you pickup your stuff yet? I am ALWAYS here to help you both and no worries I won't tell LG:giggles: Hope it went well for you both! :-)
 
thanks for asking, kewpon, but I haven't placed an order yet ... I am still a web order virgin :redface:

I did a few transactions the "old-fashioned" way, though..... rolling from one product to the other ... pretty soon, those days will be over too :pout:

my sis told me wags employees should be getting their loyalty cards next week sometime, which will double as their employee discount card too..... giving them some time to get used to the program, and then the rest of us will have to get ours :37:

I went to Walgreens to pick up my prescription yesterday morning. The community leader (manager of that store plus she is in charge of 5 or 6 other Walgreens stores) was showing the pharmacist & a couple other employees how the loyalty cards work. They all seem rather confused.
 
I'm thinking, "Why the hell have I been awake for over an hour now?" My body is very sleepy, but my mind is wide awake. Sent a few emails and made some herbal tea, so maybe now I can relax a sleep a couple more hours.
 
Having a garage sale Fri/Sat at my mom's house (busy street) & it feels so good to purge!

We need to convert our attic to a guest room/room for SD16 in order to better accommodate foster kids, so all proceeds will be going to the "attic fund." The more $$ we raise, the less "Flowers in the Attic" it will be. :snort: Lest you think I'm a Wicked Stepmonster, SD16 will 1) love the privacy & 2) is here 4x/mo, sooooo..... :p
