Calling a woman, a law student, a **** and a prostitute is not humorous.

It wasn't just the word choices, he was personally attacking her and he did it deliberately.

The only reason he even released the 'apology' is money.

His 'apology' was not sincere & it was a lie. He's still a piece of ****.

AOL is the eighth advertiser to drop Rush Limbaugh's radio show in reaction to his sharply criticized comments about a law student, who recently testified before Democrats in Congress about university coverage of contraception.

Internet publishing giant AOL said Monday that "one of our core values is that we act with integrity. We have monitored the unfolding events and have determined that Mr. Limbaugh's comments are not in line with our values."

There's a difference between a married man wanting to have sex with his wife and a chick ****ing around campus. I had plenty of sex in college, but I bought my own condoms. :9:

The thing I think is amazing about this whole thing is not that Rush is crass and inappropriate--not really a news flash for me--but that he clearly doesn't know how birth control works. He said repeatedly over the 3 day long tirade that Ms. Fluke was having "so much" sex that she couldn't afford her own birth control. He repeatedly suggested that perhaps she might not have sex "so often." He seems to be under the impression that one takes a birth control pill each time one has sex or perhaps each day one has sex. Hopefully noone who actually takes birth control shares this view because if you are only taking birth control on the days on which you have sex you better hope you are having sex everyday, otherwise... you're going to get pregnant.

Nor does Rush seem to be aware that many women take birth control pills for reasons unrelated to birth control--in fact, the substance of the testimony Ms. Fluke gave before a congressional forum was about a friend of hers who lost an ovary while she attempted to negotiate Notre Dame's bureacratic opposition to "birth control" in order to obtain the pills to treat her ovarian cysts. Lest you have any doubt that this friend wasn't in fact getting the pills to make sure she could have skads of sex without getting pregnant, the friend is a lesbian which is surely a more effective mode of "birth control."

I find it truly amazing that these men who don't even understand how birth control works think they are more qualified to decide who should and shouldn't receive it than either the women involved or their doctors.

Anyway just one more stop on the Republican bandwagon -- "Government just small enough to fit in your vagina!"

this chick is paying upwards of $20,00 a year for Law school at a private universityand she ****es about $120-$200 a year for birth control.......

She probably has loans and possibly scholarships and grants that take care of tuition. She may not have a lot of money after everything is said and done. Also, where are you getting the $120-200 figure from?

Not many parents are as rich as Ann & Mitt Romney. Many law students rely on students loans and financial aid to pay for tuition/fee. However, most financial aid doesn't cover living expense. They have to struggle to come up with the money to meet their living expense, so $100 - $200 could be an extra burden.

It is NEVER OK to call a woman the things he called her. If you have a vagina, you should be offended by it. Period. He can't have a civilized debate or discussion about the subject? He has to resort to calling dirty names? What is he in 6th grade? GROW UP Rush! You are an embarrassment.

Then we should have a lot more threads here about all the musicians that do the same. Oh wait, there's only a limited area of ideas some folks here get outraged about.

And as a rule, I don't let my body parts decide what I'm outraged about. This is just more theater by Rush. I'm sure this will shock some of you, but I'm not a fan.

Rush is amazing orator. He takes the completely ridiculous things that come out
of the mouth of liberals and makes satire out of it. If you don't "GET" Rush than you probably believe that I should pay for your birth control too. Oh and for you daughters abortion.

I'm fairly certain law school is way more than 20k and she is not paying for any of that either.

Anybody every hear of a thing called personal resonsibility? ---

Did you read the transcripts of her testimony? It isn't about anyone paying for birth control, it was about access to birth control, in point when hormonal birth control is prescribed to treat other medical conditions. She is not asking for the government to give her free condoms or saying she has tons of sex.

IIRC Ed Schultz was suspended for calling Laura Ingram names. He was wrong and so is Rush. Any commentator who resorts to slurs and name calling is in the wrong. But there is one really big distinction, Rush is doing this to a private citizen not a public figure.
